home learning day

last tuesday, apparently almost all our markers had no ink, so mr tiong was like trying all the markers on the whiteboard, look, his masterpiece!

and this is my 'scary thing' clay figurine, isn't it nice? it has two very big eyes, (okay, please don't think sick, like some people in my class. make your heart and mind as pure as mr tiong's, according to what he said "my mind and heart is very pure." so please, please don't think sick), a very big mouth. oh did i tell you that it's hollow? so cool! and it has a hat which has a flower (not very obvious in this picture though) took three hours ( one plus two) in all to complete it!

oh and yesterday i was kind of high and ate moo's ice cream and cherie was eating her very floppy jelly ice cream. i love the moo ice cream stick. ha, in this picture it seems like my head has turned into an ice cream stick! and i used paint to paint over my nametag, for privacy you know.

okay, so today is home learning day! where we get to stay at home and mug for block test, and i still cannot believe that i have the time to blog! mug, and mug and mug...

last wednesday

watch shaolin girl with regine. it's so nice! moreover, all the stunts of the lead actress is done by herself, cause she's a wushu pro. and she can do ma3 bu4 with three bowls balanced on her knees and head. and inside the bowl there is an egg, and the egg wasn't even moving when she was doing ma3 bu4! she's so pro! and the show is very nice and it's in japanese, and then kitty zhang, from china i think, she spoke japanese in such a weird accent! and according to some website, they gave shaolin girl such a low rating! i bet it's because it was in japanese and they didn't like to read the subtitles. but i highly recommend it to be watched. but i think the cinemas are not going show it anymore cause it's quite an old show. even plaza singapura don't show it anymore!

yesterday

for geog we were like copying and copying and copying the workbook answers to revise for block test, and my hands were so suan from copying. then during pccg mrs amy was talking about a foster parent programme whereby the parents 'adopt' a scholar from overseas but these parents are not guardian of the child and they are not responsible if the scholar do badly in exams or have a demerit point. and the scholars live in the boarding school, not a house. and occasionally bring them out to see singapore. and that they are very busy most of the time and that when they come to singapore they will usually be quite homesick for the first three months, so these foster parents will kind of be their emotional support. then apparently yesterday night mrs amy called me and asked if i was interested in the programme cause according to her i was quite suitable for it and my parents were very supportive. so i told her i didn't really understand the programme and she explained the whole thing to me. she said that she didn't want to talk to my parents caused she believed that i have the ability to tell my parents about the programme??!! so i had to retell my parents what she said. my mom said that she was afraid she won't have the time to take care of the scholars as she is very busy with work. actually i am quite interested in the programme cause it's like knowing another foreigner, and if she's from china, then my spoken chinese will greatly improve. cause as you know, i can't speak chinese as fuently as english cause i don't speak chinese at home. no, i should rephrase that, my family don't speak chinese at all. so just today mrs amy called me again and she said that she will ask someone to calrify any questions that my mother has. but i really don't understand why mrs amy is so interested for my parents to become foster parents out of the other twenty-nine pairs of parents in my class? it's not like i am some sort of monitress or anything like that. moreover i i don't really stand out in class and i don't voice out my opinions ofter. so i really feel very weird. i thought she will be more interested to ask people like wanli, sandra, ling an, yanying, jiale, regine, etc.
and now my neck, back, hips, arms and legs are like super suan from wushu. and i just got a stupid blister on my right thumb yesterday from swinging of the gun4. it doesn't hurt very much now, thankfully, if not i won't be able to write properly cause the injury is hear the place where my pen rests on when i write.
honestly, i'm quite stressed for block test especially lang arts and that litereary response answer, it's so difficult to do! anyway, wish me luck for block test! :D *wink!*
toodles!
