this post is all about yesterday.

oh, and guess what, four people were absent in class!! FOUR!!! that's like more than 10%!!!!

so yesterday was one of the worst ever lunch i've ever experienced. at the beginning lunch was fine, then like the last 10 minutes was the worst. that was when all the bad news suddenly came to me. there were like a total of three bad news, but the last one is not a very serious bad new though. the first one was the worst. so when i was drinking my longan juice and eating the longan, i felt some bits of longan stuck in my braces, so i went to the mirror to check it out. then, to my horror, i found out that the bottom rright jaw of the tooth without a bracket suddenly just sank down in the gum by a half! it's quite freaky. it's like the whole tooth suddenly became shorter by half.so then when i told my classmates, they were equally freaked out, like shichun and yanying, they were like oh-my-god-ing.

so then when i went into class, ellen suddenly told me that the audition for teachers day concert is on the 31st august!!! and we had only 6 days to prepare, then wanli told us it was compulsory! and we didn't even pratice and how are we supposed to get the class to dance in like six days??!!from the lifeskills camp experienced, we knew that it was impossible to do that. so we were like totally desperate, and most of the class didn't even know that the audition was on 31st august!!!
okay, i'm so totally going to freak out!!!

then wanli and the other classes monitressses had to meet mr tiong for something. so then it turned out to be for his research on nanyang girls workload, and he told in term three that we had to fill up all the due dates of homework and stuffs like that on some google calendar, and i guess apparently nobody bothered to do that, so then i think he told the monitress to tell the subject reps to fill them up, i mean, from the beginning of the term to now!! that's like so craxy, especially when there is some chinese work that is completed on that day and not as homework.

okay, so lets move on to the nicer things

there are some sort of night festival at the five museums in singapore, so my parents decided to go there. so the place was so cool! there was some sort of special lighings that changed the exterior of the museum, it's super cool and nice! i shall post the pictures next time. it's really beautiful especially in the night. and they were filming hairspray in an open-air cinema and lots and lots of people were there. so they had some cool activities. like there was this man inside a 1.5 meter by 1.5 meter house, a 1:8 scale of his actual house, and he's from new zeland! and then he was like playing with this minature piano and you can actually talk to him through the windows cause the window is like openend. and there were like lots of people peering into the windows. i wonder how he felt when so many curious eyes were looking at him, must be kinda awkward, huh??

and there were several treaditional games like five stones, etc.. and there was this very cool game i've never seen beofre. there is this glass bottle, something like a beer bottle king. so there is this metal rod and attached at the end of the rod is a string and attached on the string is a metal ring. so you have to use this metal ring to get this bottle to stand up. so there were like a lot of people trying it (oh yah, it's free to try) so i didn't bother to play at first. so later after we've visited like three museums, it was like already close to 1.30am. so there are fewer people of course. so i played the game. my mum said that she have never seem anyone succeding in it and it was very hard. so she asked the person in charge of the game if there was anyone who suceeded. he said yes, there were. so she asked what is the secret of suceeding. he said you have to do it really slow and be really patient. so i tried lor cause there were so few people and i do the gun4 in wushu, so geneerally i have a bit of 'stick' sense, you know. so i treid really slow and easy. and there were like so many people watching, so stressful!!! so i did it really slow and my shoulders and arms were super tense. halfway through, i paused for a while cause i was practically holding my breath. so i did it slowly, and slowly, and when it was almost standing, it almost tipped the other side because of some sort of momentom, and it tipped back and forth until it stood! yay!! i succeded in my first try!! yay!!!! and my parents were like so surprised, haha!! i was like sweating like siao after that.
