before i start ranting about DBSK-related stuffs.

Ip Man is SO FREAKING NICE!! and it's way BETTER than that twilight! (sorry for offending twillight's fans) it's really nice okay! and meaningful! and it's based on a TRUE story, unlike twilight. i seriously don't get all that fuss about twilight. anyway Ip Man rocks!!! he's like the lim bo seng of china if not better!

and guess what? that guy is the master of bruce lee!

it's a MUST WATCH of dec 08, which sadly is coming to the end.

here's the synopsis:
In the 1930s, Foshan thrives as the hub of Chinese wushu, with various sects actively recruiting disciples. They often compete against each other to prove their strengths.

While Yip Man is an accomplished martial artist, he is unassuming and keeps a low-profile, and doesn't run any martial arts school nor accept students. He only stays at home, quietly sparring with his compatriots in friendly competitions, swapping pointers with each other.

One day, Yip Man (Donnie Yen) is challenged by Master Liao (Chen Zhi Hui), who just set up a wushu school, in a closed match. Yip Man's buddy Martial Zealot Lin (Xing Yu), who witnessed the entire fight, tells everyone about Master Liu losing. Seeing it as a public humiliation, Master Liao gets into disputes with Yip Man.

Henchmen of Jin Shan Zhao (Fan Siu Wong) are going around challenging various wushu schools in Foshan. In one fight, Martial Zealot Lin is mortally wounded. Yip Man comes to his rescue, only to be stopped by Jin Shan Zhao. Everyone gathers around to watch the match whereby Ip Man dispenses the latter with ease using four Wing Chun Forms: fist, footwork, blade and cudgel.

Ip Man becomes an instant hero and there develops a craze for Wing Chun in Foshan.

Following Japanese invasion in 1937, everyone's life is adversely affected. Yip Man's property is confiscated and his family is forced to live in a decrepit house. Being one with strong pride, Ip Man refuses charity from his wealthy friend Zhou Qing Quan (Simon Yam), owner of a cotton mill, opting instead to work as a coolie at a coal mine to sustain his family.

One day, General Miura (Hiroyuki Ikeuchi), together with his troops, arrives. As a fanatical practitioner in martial arts himself, he sets up an arena, offering rice as a reward. However, to another high-ranking Japanese officer Sato's (Shibuya Tenma) mind, they cannot afford to lose, they must preserve Japanese superiority and dignity.

Eagerly taking up the challenge, Martial Zealot Lin makes use of the opportunity to demean the Japanese...

the trailer:

oh, and there's this very funny part when the chinese gangster of the movie appears. cause the movie is mostly in cantonese (except for this particular gangster who speaks chinese) so i read the english subtitles. and in total this gangster said 'damn it' more than 5 times.

so the first time i read the subtitles 'damn it' i was like, ooh haha.

the second time he repeated 'damn it' again and i didn't noticed how it was like in chinese so i began feeling curious.

and the third time when i saw the subtitle 'damn it' i quickly looked at the chinese subtitles and found out that damn it in chinese is 我奶奶的!

HAHAHAHA!!! so HILARIOUS and CUTE! why don't he say 我婆婆的!or 我爷爷的!or 我公公的!

so freaking funny!

anyway GO WATCH THIS FREAKINGLY NICE SHOW! ONE OF THE BEST I'VE EVER SEEN!! (even if the sypnosis provided in this post is VERY detailed!)

ok, about DBSK-related stuffs.

went to JB's City Square again today and saw this guy who has jaejoong's platinum blonde hairstyle. same colour, same style. and he even frequently looks in the mirror to arrange his fringe in such a way that some fringe are in between the 2 eyebrows, something like those manga characters, and that's exactly what jaejoong does!

this is the hairstyle that i'm talking about:

and remember i said that jaejoong looks way better in black hair? yes? yah, so this guy SHOULD go dye his hair black back.

anyway, now about little nonya.

haha, in city square i saw this person watching little nonya on her computer, on tudou! omg! i can't believe people in MALAYSIA are also crazy about little nonya!! haha!

and yay!! i got this bum equipment jeans at a 70% discount!! it's like 109RM before discount and about 32.70RM after discount! so cheap right?? it's like about S$10!!! WOW!! moreover it's the ORIGNAL brand! yay!

and i bought this burned 'talk now! for korea' disc at 7RM to learn korean!! HAHA!! i'm going to learn korean by myself!! yay!!! a bit too late lah, only starting when holidays are ending! haha.

and i got a late christmas present from my dad! it's a portable DVD player which can play lots of things like TV, MP3, MP4, DVD, CD, and even from your thumbdrive!! and the screen can turn 180 degrees! like fujitsu lifebook!! so cool! I LOVE IT!!

and GO WATCH IP MAN!!! IT TOTALLY ROCKS!!
