CONTACT LENSES!!!!!!!!!

i noticed that every saturday training, zhou jiaolian (she only comes on saturdays) will always tell me that wushu comps cannot wear specs, and whether i'll be wearing contacts or not wearing specs. and i'll always say not wearing specs. and then she'll tell me that i'll have to get used to it and open my eyes bigger to glare (for some wushu spirit).

and suddenly i realisd that it would be weird to glare when i can't see things clearly, so i requested my mum to get me contacts!! and she agreed! :D

so we went to west mall today. checked my eye degree. and i'm so happy cause the right only increased by 50 and the left 25. cause during primary school days it will increase by 100 every year. which makes this a rather good improvement.

got my contacts. and now i had to put it on before going home. and guess what. i had a hard time putting it. i failed for the first hour. and while trying and failing, in my mind i was like, "omg how does yanying does this??" i almost gave up.

and moreover the guy who tried to help me was totally useless, i don't think he has even tried on contacts before.

and just when i was about to give up, this lady came to me. she wore specs but at that time she wanted to switch to her contacts, so she showed me how to do it. and then later she helped me and instructed me.

she's super patient and nice!! and with her help, i improved a lot more. and i managed to put them in!!! i removed it and placed the contacts back for about 3 times until the last time, i managed to put the contacts in the second try!!!

i'm very grateful to that lady!! haha and i'm kinda irritated by that guy who wasted one hour of my time. i stayed in the shop for two hours i think. hmmm i took so long to get it!! and yanying only took 5-10 min!!!! OMG!! i'm such a failure...

and from today i conclude that my eyelids are super stiff and can't be stretche open easily. unlike my mums', i was so amazed by how wide she could stretch her eyelids!!

and now i'm wearing contacts!! it kinda feels weird at first, like you're not wearing specs and you have perfect eyesight! haha! i'll only be wearing it just before trainings! and i'm completely used to it already!!!
