proper english post
Saturday, March 14, 2009 @ 6:13 PM

actually i don't really know what to post about, but since xinyi requested it, i shall post. ><

wushu

today's training was very productive!! thanks to xuejiaolian!! like he's a much better coach than someone else! anyways i think i improved a bit! yays haha.

and just today, i realised that wushu competitions are coming!! they start on 1st april. and that's less than three weeks away!! i'm seriously freaking out. i'm NOT mentally, physically and emotionally prepared. really!

moreover wanqing said that for sec twos we have a higher chance of winning as we will be competing with sec ones and twos (c division). and that pressurized me even more. imagine not winning anything, moreover you actually have an advantage, wouldn't it be so shameful? espcially when the coach kinda place hopes on you, hmm that's worse.

and i really like wushu. haha this is random. i think i'll most probably continue with wushu in hwachong! :D

to be or not to be

to be or not to be. that has been my status for facebook and my personal message on msn. seriously after that phone call, i've been pondering over this question. actually the question is more like to accept or not to accept. i consulted/asked my batchmates, classmates and schoolmates. (it seems like a lot of people, but actually i asked less than 10 of them!) and all of them had the same answer: to be/accept.

i'm really afraid of making the wrong decision. this kind of reminds me of a story in our chinese textbook, the one about the road and the father and the artist. now i'm more inclined to to be/accept, but i'm really not sure yet. i think i'm kind of a coward in making decisions.

to kill a mockingbird

i seriously love this book. i love everything about it! at first i thought it was boring, everyone thinks so too, cause of the first chapter of the book. but i like it now! partly cause of the trial part! it's just like jodi picoult's books! trial's are just so cool!

i can't imagine moving on to romeo and juliet in semester 2. i already gave up reading r and j during the holidays after reading the first scene. and i've no idea how gaoge manage to fall in love with it.

but why do we have to learn shakespear's plays?? it's like learning an ancient english language. hopefully i'll like romeo and juliet once language arts lessons move on to it.

march holidays

this march holidays does not feel like a holiday at all. it's more like a home learning week instead. packed with sias, homeworks, cca trainings, supplementary lessons. what's the difference between schooldays and holidays??

here's my current march holidays plan:

mon: go to ling an house for ivp
tue: wushu, qiuhao comes to my house for geography sia
wed: bio supplementary, regine and yueling come to my house for their ivp and our history sia, chinese tuition
thu: wushu
fri: piano lesson
sat: wushu-ngee ann secondary wushu coming to nygh to train with us
sun: my only free day which will most likely end up to be a homework rushing day

so basically it's kind of packed. especially the first half of the week. but i'm still grateful for this week long break despite the amount of work we have.

hmm i don't know if any of you readers notice this: this blog post is kind of different from the rest, and it's not because dbsk is not mentioned. i'm trying to write a proper-english-language post. yanying's blog is a good example of one. all of my previous blog post uses very conversational and chatting-style english. especially with hahas and smileys. but there's still a few smileys used in this post.

i'm just very inspired and impressed by yanying's blog posts. xD
