today marks a big accomplishment for me. haha. actually is not THAT big or important. it's just that, today is the first day where i managed to put my contacts in both eyes in the first try! took less than three minutes! COOL HUH? haha i think i'm rather slow though, taking so long before managing to be able to do this. usually it's one eye that takes a long time to put the contacts in, now it's BOTH! haha.
so today's trainings. oh it was super funny lah. when pingghee came up to the rooftop hall, then the sec twos saw someone wearing the new wushu tee sitting on the benches, and pingghee told us it was zhou jiaolian. we didn't ask her up.
then the sec threes spotted her. and they thought it was someone from wushu and said, "hey wushu person!" cause her back was facing us. then zhou jiaolian turned around and the sec threes were VERY SHOCKED! haha super funny lahs.
oh then zhou jiaolian talked to those individual competition people about how we felt about the comps. then she talked to me and asked me what i didn't do good. and then i forgot that she was my judge. so when she mentioned that i 失误 i was super surprised and asked her, "你有看我啊?" and that very instant i remembered she was my judge and felt to malu.
oh and she told me that vincent ng (he was my judge too), and if you don't know him, he's a mediacorp artiste who is super pro in wushu and owns a wushu school too.
here's more info:
Vincent Ng (Weng Qinghai 翁清海) was a national wushu (Chinese martial arts) sportsman before he became an actor. He had brought glory to our country, Singapore. He participated in the 5th Star Search, a talent search competition organised by the Television Corporation of Singapore (TCS) (now known as MediaCorp), in 1997. Although he did not clinch the top 3 positions, he has won the hearts of many and has proven that he can act besides excelling in wushu.

woah he does almost all the weapon lors! PRO! hmm except for spear.
yah anyways about him. cause you know the scores for wushu is being averaged, like there are six scores by six judges in all and they average it out to show your final scoring. so according to zhou jiaolian he gave me the highest score among all six judges. COOL HUH? haha i'm really curious to know what score he gave me, since it's like the highest possible score i can get. haha.
kays so moving on to the rest of trainings. we did our jiti quan and it was the first time someone videoed it, except there were only five of us. but watching the videos, surprisingly we were a lot more neat than we expected. and it was cool!
lots of people are getting pissed that the om competition has to be so near our jiti comps. especially the fact that three out of eight of us are in om. so in the end we're all kind of worried especially since we've changed quite a number of things from the last two trainings. hopefully the om people will focus during the last training we have before comps and not slack. if not, 后果不堪设想.
