WSC DUTIES ♥


reached school at 6.50. so early rights. cause there was no jam at all, and the two buses i took were so empty, like only have three passengers. reached school and there were practically no one. then woon yee and shu hui came. and i changed to 9tee.

then reported to priscilla and we were given our very own customised nametag!! it's not even those sticker paste kind of nametag, but those they purposely print your name out! LOOK:


and it even has 'staff' below your name! i feel so honourable haha!! and we even get to keep them after duties ended!

registration was fun! tick their names, gave them their nametags and a goodie bag each haha! shuhui and i were doing the junior section. and there were only six koreans >< and the senior section had like thirty koreans!! the koreans look korean, the two guys were wearing specs, and there's this one girl who is very chio lor! seriously! they even brought mini korea flags! there were turkey, china, usa, taiwan, thailand, indonesia, malaysia, last but not least singapore! i hope i didn't miss out any countries from junior section.

oh then i spotted jacqueline from gep in rgps now in rgs. she look.. different.

then the registration, usually the people come in cars, so like it's easier. so when mr kaw told us 'an army of buses' was coming we were all like freaked out. then when we really saw four buses coming at the same time (from park hotel) we were totally freaked out haha. but the junior section had only 90 plus people, compared to the 150 plus people in senior section. so we finished our registration earlier than them.

so they proceded to the hall for orientation and shuhui and i went to LT2 to see if the wsc organisers needed any help. helped them paste some seating arrangement paper thing. then when the students came we helped to give out the essay booklets! very fun lor! haha. and the angmoh organisers are like very friendly! they shaked our hands and introduced themselves to us lols. and kept saying how they appreciated our help as if we did something really great. oh and this guy was like wondering how we could walk up and down the LT2 so fast cause it's really steep, and was asking us if we saw anyone falling before lols.

the essay started and we slacked at conference room c for like 30 min. read a bit of change of heart but couldn't really focus cause yushan, woonyee and shuhui talked a lot haha.

went back to LT2 and helped them collect the essay papers! so fun~ haha! and mr nigel kaw took some random photo of shuhui and i haha! and cause the essay part was delayed by a lot, their orignal 30 min bread shrank to a pathetic 5 min break. haha.

during the break we were helping the organisers dividing the OAS papers into sets of 6. quite fun! haha. then when they came back distributed the world scholar's challenge papers to them. and left after we were not needed.

went to audi to help to do some stuffs. we were supposed to paste this sheet of paper with the team number, school and country of a team on the chair. quite fun too haha! woon yee and i had fun changing the numbers from 91 to 94 and 93 to 92! oh man didn't take photo of it though.

so while i was placing what seats the paper should be pasted on, i took photos of singapore and korean schools for fun! haha! oh yah there are more than one teams for each school so the team number i took photo of is just some random team, i look out for country only haha!

and this is how the audi looks like currently, prepared for the wsc finals award ceremony. so grand rights! and the middle part is all the flags of the participating countries. singapore is right in the middle, korea is the second flag from the left. the person sitting in the middle of the stage is a SL.


then after that we went to kope lunch for SL helpers. had a choice of western or local. i chose western! had pasta, brocolli & carrot (super hard), potato wedges, chicken and mango pudding. the pasta very nice ^^ and packet drink too. and according to ms/mrs ang each serving costs $6 o.O

oh yah wanli and wanqing smsed me during my duties asking me to lend them the 9tee for their afternoon shift. lols lah. so in the end i lent it to wanqing and wanli found another 9tee from someone in the morning shift. oh and wanqing's hair is so cute!!! i wanna cute my hair into small ponytail too! haha! but i don't think i'll cut so soon bahs. oh then wanqing was like asking me to strip cause she desperately needs the 9tee which i was wearing then. she was practically going 'strip strip!' wth lahs. haha.

went home about 2.30. slept from like 2.30-8! omg i wonder how i'm going to sleep in the night. oh my parents went to play tennis from 4-6, wanted to join them but was too tired to pull myself out of the bed. must be because i slept at 1am yesterday. oh man i haven't had my dinner yet.
