i only can remember what happened this monday onwards.
monday: mainly was french test.. no as scary as i expected. comprehension and grammar were manageable. redaction (composition) was a killer.. it's like the same standard as PSLE english compo lah! they give you this picture with a lot of action and you have to like.. write about it! which is crazy since i don't know much french words. so i ended up creating my own french words from english words. seriously. like:
horrified became horrifique terrified became terrifique weapon remained as weapon LOL RIGHT.
anyways redaction is... mati liao lor.. went home and piano like mad.
tuesday: got back history. totally didn't make my day. i shall now proudly shamefully annouce my awesome marks:

everyone say yay!! aren't you guys happy? that i've finally FAILED an exam. block test is equivalent to exam by the way. YAY HILARY HAS SUCCESSFULLY FAILED HER FIRST EXAM PAPER IN NANYANG!! i guess many of you are happy? heh.
yes and i cried like shit after receiving my marks. totally couldn't control my tears at all.. wanted to but just couldn't. it even felt worse than not winning anything during wushu competitions. yay hilary cried after knowing that she failed!!! i really think a lot of people are happy that i failed an exam. really.
after school had psl exco interview. okay i guess. but i think if i don't get in... the reason will most probably be because i don't have unlimited sms >< hmm.. yah.. ms lye is real nice though! good thing she was there with my interview else i think i might just freak out fromt the serious-ness of the president and vice president.
stayed back to watch the cihnese inter-class debate for a while. gosh that person from 204 is freaking agitated lah. scary... didn't go training cause of piano exam. went home to piano like mad again.
went panyu's house in the night to play on her piano since it's the same model as the exam piano i'll be playing! feels very different... but nice to! yamaha U5 is a really good piano i think! but i still like my kawai upright grand haha! she gave me some tips to improve my expressions and stuffs like that. heh and even tried testing me on sight reading. thanks panyu!! hopefully we can meet up more next time!!
wednesday: wanted to wake up at 7 but ended up waking up at 8.45. haha, when everyone is having school! practiced one whole set of scales and played my pieces five times. headed towards some methodist music school next to salvation army for piano exam.
oh yah thanks yy for sms-ing me good luck at about 7.20! haha. the only successful good luck sms i received. oh yes and thanks for the note too. the last sentence really helped me a lot ^^
piano exam started 15 mins earlier as the piano examiner likes to start it earlier in case of unforseen circumstances. i refused my mum's offer to bring her jacket along with me to the piano room, and i really regretted my decision later.
the room was like freezing cold, and i was only wearing hongzi. great right. i never knew it would be THAT cold, i always thought my resistance to coldness was rather high. moreover my grade two exam in P5/6, the exam room wasn't THAT cold either.. hmm thinking about it now, maybe it was because then i was wearing my rgps pinafore (thanks xinyi for the spelling heh), which means that i was wearing TWO layers, as compared to the sleeveless, colarless, one-layered hongzi. gosh.
so my body wasn't cold, only my poor fingers. it was like half-numb. first few scales were good, only the last two had one or two slips >< contrary motion and contrary chromatic scales were prefect ^^ chromatic scale had a few slips which was SHITTT! cause i NEVER EVER slip during chromatics.. haiss... arpeggios... slipped on one or two arpeggios out of six of them i think. ><
pieces.. had two minor slips in my group A piece, no slips in my group B piece ^^, and a very tiny minor hesistation in the beginning three notes of my group C piece, and so i repeated the first three notes again (oh man i don't know if doing this is good or not good) and other than that it was perfect!
sight reading WAS THE BEST MANN!! like the first time i had absolutely NO mistakes in my sight-reading IN MY LIFE! like in normal piano lesson i will have at least one mistake haha! no flats forgotten, no wrong notes, no wrong rhythm, followed dynamics too! WHEEE~ for the first time the sight-reading piece i played actually sounds NICE and OKAY! well.. except for one thing... the piece wrote 'Lively' on top, but i played it in a rather slower tempo, so the piece didn't quite turn out lively though, sounds a bit sad... heh... gosh hope i don't get a lot less marks cause of this.
aural.. singing was okay, had to use 'lalala' unfortunately cause there were accidentals >< if not i'll be able to use 'dohrehmi..' lor, and if i could i would get higher marks. haiss.. the piece the examiner played was pretty nice! unexpectedly i only had to answer his questions like multiple choice gosh. i thought it would be like those open-ended questions. like he asked 'so is this piece ______ OR ______?' i just had to choose between the two gosh. hope i chosed/tikamed correctly HEH. and clapping was challenging. why must he give me an extract with so many continous quavers gosh. like eight of them? ahh wells..
i don't really know if i did well or not.. can't really tell from the examiner face since he remains rather neutral throughout. but all i know is that i did not do as well as my grade 2 exam.. haiss.. oh yah and the examier's british accent is very nice! haha. and he's damn amusing lah, like at the end when the exam has finished, he said 'so that's the end, bye bye~' the byebye was said in a very singing-iish and happy way LOL.
kinda apprehensive yet anticipating for my piano results. that explains this post's title and my current pm! cool right! alliteration + contradiction haha! i think i'll most probably get merit, or even only a pass >< i really hope to get distinction, and will be damn happy if i do, but i think there's a very very very small possibilty >< shall just gracefully accept whatever results that come.
regine's good luck sms was so.... she wanted to smsed me during recess, but turned out that the message failed to send, so she ended up sms-ing at the end of recess. and when she finished sms-ing, five mintues later i arrived class. LOL LAH. and then after piano exam, straightaway was trigo quiz, gosh so weird lah... my heart is still beating very fast and i felt really hyper, and suddenly have trigo quiz.. almost couldn't do a single question wahaha.
then after school had chem olympiad.. gahhh concentration. it's like i understand it but when i see a question, i have completely no idea how to do it.
then went to regine's house to cut hair! her house very nice!!! haha! played with a webcam for the first time in my life with jiaying, xinyi and puaytse LOL! to show my new hair cut wahaha! jiaying said 'why you cut so short?' LOL! not short lah. but when i tie it the ponytail is really cute and small! I LIKE! which means my hair won't slap someone's face anymore, and won't slap MY OWN face especially during wushu HEH.
and my head feels so light! and i can finally not tie my hair when i go out! cause previously if i don't tie my hair.. when wind blows.. my hair becomes a disaster LOL. yay like my new hairstyle! i think i won't be tying my hair during crab flower haha! thanks to regine's recommendation and the auntie who cut my hair! she kept saying i have a lot of hair haha. and said i have so much hair, but my face so skinny. make my head look super big HEH.
and thanks to regine's mum for giving all 3 of us (joy regine and me) a lift to tien hsia.. or else we will be like half an hour late gosh. haha. oh yes and thanks regine for the lovely PARIS keychain~ VERY PRETTY! but i don't know where to put it yet haha.
today: finished editting my poem and everyting already! still got lots of work to do haha. i love school holidays cause i get to cook my kimchi ramen, and bring the whole pot of noodles in front of my computer to watch dramas! damn nice okay! watched episode 3 and 4 of ISWAK! heh i'm planning to take my time to watch it! :D
omg and this is freaking pro or something lah! i'm not sure if they are really playing it though. gosh this piano battle is the best i've ever seen! GOSHHH! SUPER PRO LAH PLEASE! A MUST WATCH!!
