Wednesday

Had netball inter class games! It was pretty fun, surprised by my ability to catch balls and throw them quite accurately since it's been a long time since I've last played any form of ball games, and was expecting myself to be pretty rusty. Playing centre was very fun! Though tiring at the same time. It's really interesting to play the same position my mum was in. (Apparently my mum was so good in centre position that her teammates would always ask her to be the centre) Haha. I worked well with Ling An surprisingly too, was quite hesistant to be in the same position as her at first. I guess it was fun overall. Oh yes, the band's playing of this really sad but patriotic song was quite.. timely? They played it when one of 212's player's shoe's sole came off and had to be replaced. Really timely.

Oh and the free milos! They asked us to pose pictures for the YOG, which was quite random lol.

Went to 8Q museum for some FOA activities, and I was very impressed! I must say I've kinda fallen in love with contemporary art pieces after this trip. And I think it's way better than visiting Asian Civilisation Museum or National Museum haha! The artworks done by the four people were really fascinating, except for one which I found quite boring and ermm.. not much effort put in.

Really loved that black and white room. The portrait being cut into quarter, TV being cut into half and still functioning properly. Everything black and white, even the fake plant and the milo tin. And the calendar dating back to the 90s. The hidden skeleton. Some Russia symbol as a tessalation (is this how you spell it?) for the flooring. Really cool. And the corridoor filled with papers giving a claustrophic atmosphere is very unique. Oh and I love that Singapore river water thing, especially that very big and empty room with a ladder and a whole tube of water. Really look like some sort of horrror movie where the chemicals in the tube are used to kill people.

Stayed back after school for drama rehearsals. Tried out a new publicity but didn't gain favour from the majority unfortunately. Well I must say the original original one is indeed the best. The video Chermaine put on Facebook was really cool. Went to tienhsia after that. Got five breads from breadou for souvenirs for the China people.

Thursday

FOA in the morning! No offense to anybody, but I found the first performance - NYCB the best. I really love the first song, that super sad but patriotic one. Haha. For modern dance, I found it a little too abstract, I would have preferred one more like Apologise. For chinese dance, it was too... relaxing, watching it really made me want to sleep. Haha. Guzheng. sorry but jay chou songs really don't appeal to me, though I enjoyed watching his movie 'Secret' very much. String ensemble was quite nice, but gave a kinda gentle feeling, the instruments are strings after all. So it didn't quite appeal to me, though I really enjoyed the part where the conductor showed us how he can 'control' the ensemble, and inviting people to conduct was really cool! I would have volunteered to but I'm too scared to haha. I think conducting is really cool! (My personal opinion here) Hmm... I think I haven't comment about Chinese Orchestra? Well, the gong was really distracting. And LOUD. Like BOOMZ! They should seriously reduce it to one, and not three incredibly loud ones haha, though there might be a purpose of having three gongs.

Watched Howl's Moving Castle afterwards. Quite enjoyed it, though I'm not the manga-inclined sort of person. I doubt I'll go purposely watch any mangas after this though. I'm really not used to the manga world. The storyline of the movie was unique, though it was TOO CHEEZY GOSH! IT'S WAY CHEEZIER THAN ANY KOREAN DRAMA. I totally couldn't stand the cheeziness. Moreover the lecture theatre was practically freezing, and I didn't have a jacket, adding on to the coldness. Was so cold (most people were too) that walking to the auditorium was so hard. And I was practically shivering and my teeth were chattering in the audi. Gosh. I hope I don't get this feeling in China, else I'll just die.

Hm.. is it called 'cheezy'? Anyway you get my point.

DRAMA FEST SHOWCASE AFTER THAT! Goobled up my dinner like mad. I didn't know why I was feeling quite sad and un-enthu in the changing room. Sorry YY if I affected your emotional well being somehow, I didn't mean to. I just felt damn irritated and sad suddenly in the changing room. But anyways, I tried to be hyper after that! xD And I guess it was kinda successful? Haha.

WE ROCKED THE STAGE 202!

And when they announce the best play, gosh why did they have to show our poster even before announcing the first place? Totally brought our hopes up. If they hadn't showed it before, I think we would have screamed louder. Much louder. Haha and Iffy's mum was great! Very supportive parent ^^ My Dad videoed our performance, but cause there was something wrong with the video camera, there was some buzzing sound in the background at some parts, so I'm not going to upload on Youtube or Facebook. ><

Friday

Level closure. Was doing gee with several people outside the auditorium. Really fun. I'm pissed. Pissed by how much time the sec ones ate into our level closure. Seriously, do they need THAT long to close their level? They are only SEC ONES! And will still have the same classmates next year. WHEREAS WE POOR SEC TWOS ARE LEAVING EACH OTHER ALREADY! AND WE CAN'T GET A PROPER FULL LEVEL CLOSURE THANKS TO SEC ONES. How unfair is it? Frankly speaking, sec ones don't even need a level closure, maybe just a speech by their level director will do. I felt really bad for the rest of the class who were unable to show their montage. It's really sad for them okay. Gosh I can't help but to feel irritated with the sec ones.

And there was some VVIP briefing. No comments about it. Will be dangerous to talk about it here.

Had class party with the food we got for prizes from drama fest after school. Really fun! Stayed back with YY, Shichun, Ellen, Jiale, Klara and Cheryl to take really crazy photos. Haha.

Stayed even later for Sec 4 Graduation. Didn't do much, just stood around for a very long time. Went down to join other PSLs and had a VERY entertaining conversations. Haha. Food was nice! Gosh those chocolate eclairs <3

Saturday

Slept for 14 hours. Must have been really tired. Since I have been reaching home past 9pm from wednesday to friday, and sleeping past 12 midnight during that span of time. Apparently in the afternoon. one of my neighbour was tuning her piano and it was super noisy even my parents who were awake could not stand it. My mum thought it was my alarm clock at first. And guess what? I slept through the whole piano tuning witout knowing a thing about it. Haha.

Skipped breakfast and lunch that day, but had a HUGE dinner. Ate at Cafe Cartel at IMM. Had some porky set. Which consisted of three HUGE pieces of pork chops. Gosh ate till I almost died. And there was free flow of bread! Very yummy bread! Except that you had to chiong like mad to get bread. Cause it runs out VERY fast, and they take a while to replenish it. Quite sad. They should improve this so that people don't have to watch out for the waiter with the breads like some eagle watching out for its prey.

Today

Nothing much. Finished watching Jay Chou's Secret movie. Enjoyed it, though the interesting part only comes nearing the end half. The front half was kinda draggy at first. I found the plot interesting. And I absolutely love the piano duet and battle~ Gosh it'll take forever till I can play like them.

And yay Cherie started to watch You're Beautiful! Oh gosh I can't believe I have to wait until I come back to watch the next episode of You're Beautiful. I really can't wait!!!

I've decided that even if next year, I end up in a non-special class, and have no special programmes or whatsover, I'll accept them and not moan like some people as if their world has collapsed. Even if I don't get into MSTP, even if I don't get into SMP, even if I don't get the SAP scholarhip, I will still live my life and continue to be who I am.

However I really hate the feeling of inferiority. It's sometimes quite unfair to see someone having everything. Everything that you wish to have. Well. I guess this is just reality.

I shall be satisfied with whatever I have,
I will accept whatever I have,
Even if what I have is nothing.
