Okay finally the last academic week of term 1 has come to an end! Ahh wells term 1 wasn't THAT stressful I must admit, but I've a feeling that term 2 will be very bad. Very. Right after lesson's ended yesterday, suddenly all the SIAs all came hurling back at me. Like suddenly there was so much SIA stuffs due after March hols. Jiayous Hilary!

Okay so Friday was a rather memorable day I guess! Haha shall start from lunch. So Gennie, Kai Xuan, Sinlie and I went to heritage room to prepare stuffs before Feng Tian Wei, Sun Bei Bei and Yu Meng Yu came. Then when they came they went to audi first instead of the heritage room. So me and kaixuan (i think) went to look for them to lead them to the heritage room. So you know there's like 2 doors at the side entrance of the audi, and between the two doors there's a staircase. So went I opened the first door, I didn't expect anyone to be there cause I thought they were in the audi, then turned out the first person I saw was Feng Tian Wei on the stairs between the two doors. She was like leaning against the wall and texting (??) and I almost died lah. Haha! As in like dunno why I started being super crazy and went out of the audi straightaway, and just nice Leanne and Rachel Gan was outside and I was bouncing up and down like some crazy person in front of them. Okay I've no idea what happened to me haha. Then they told me to calm down which was kinda ironic cause councillors make people high and not calm them down! HAHA.

Okay so yup led them to heritage centre, they ate and kinda talked to the table tennis cca people and us. Though both sides were quite shy and kinda awkward at first haha. I wanted to toupai FTW cause she was so super near to me but it's kinda rude to do that I guess. Haha. Then we got them to sign on 30 ping pong balls, 10 each per person. Haha hope they didn't feel irritated about that though!

Okay then 1 hour passed real fast and suddenly everyone was gathered in the audi for SIL already. Haha the presentation was okay I guess, good thing it was right in the beginning cause it's kinda the least interesting among everything else. Haha. Talking on the stage behind the rostrum was a good and memorable experience! It's like the mike quality is really good, that you don't even notice that your voice is being projected. You know unlike some lousy mikes where you can actually hear your voice sounding weird through the mike. But I didn't feel that way at all on stage haha. Though I wonder how I look/sound like to the audience when speaking throught the mike LOL.

People were LOL-ing at the mascot video haha. It's quite interesting to be able to hear and see how the cohort will react to stuffs we've prepared to present, haha and it's also real cool when you can spot where you friends are sitting! People I spotted distinctyl - Callie, Wanqing, Yanying, Qianyi, Jermia, oh and Gaoge and Wingshan cause they asked questions haha, else I won't be able to see them cause they are sitting on the second level LOL.

Hmm then the question and answer session was quite.. okay bah I guess. Haha. And my group didn't expect the audience to be so enthu during the Q&A lah! Like we thought people would feel less motivated to ask questions cause it has to be in Chinese. But turn out people were practically trying to qiang3 da3. LOL! Even people who would hardly ask questions during SIL (like wingshan!) asked! Haha. Totally opposite from normal SILs where it'll be like "Are there any questions? *awkward silence for a few seconds* If there isn't then I'll end my talk here." Kind of thing. LOL. And Esther's friend was like this is the first SIL I didn't sleep in hahaa.

Oh and the cheers for the table tennis athletes were REAL LOUD! LIKE SUPER LOUD! Haha. Guess this will be the first (and maybe last SIL) that the Sec 3 cohort is so enthu in asking questions and cheering countless of times so loudly.

Then came the demonstration. Haha. Loads of people were very disappointed that FTW didn't play. But the demonstration was still the highlight of the SIL nevertheless. Especially when Yu Meng Yu and Sun Bei Bei played together, super cool lah! The sound of the table tennis ball hitting the table was like some kind of cool rhythm haha! I was practically nodding my head to the 'rhythm'! And after every 'match' the cohort will cheer and clap real crazily haha. My group really didn't expect such big audience response. And speaking about audience response this may be the only presentation I've done which has so huge audience response. Haha.

And second highlight of SIL - Mrs Wong fangirling in front of the athletes. Haha. And Mr James Tan 'narrative' was hilarious. And speaking about Mr Tan, we're really grateful for him helping out loads in this SIL! THANKS MR TAN!! Haha okay back the Mrs Wong, LOL nothing to say except that she was AMUSING HAHAA! I think it's my first time seeing an adult fangirl. LOL.

Then my group took photo with the athletes on stage! Haha could practically hear people 'moaning' in jealousy, which was quite amusing haha. Then after SIL loads of people were practically begging us for an autographed ping pong ball. But we didn't have enough so really sorry! Gave the 30 ping pong balls to table tennis cca people, the people who asked questions, and teachers, and ourselves!

Okay the SIL seemed to past real fast, and I don't remember being THAT nervous on stage after all! Haha cleaning up after SIL was just.. great. Cause my group was just so happy about the success of it ^^ Haha going back to 308 and the class cheered for us! Good thing it was LA after SIL, cause Mr Tan would pardon us some time to clean up xD

Okay then batch outing at Plaza Singapura~ 7 of us in all. Haha not everyone but it's 7! Esther, Pingghee, Wanqing, Qianyi, Moony, Seryeen and I. 2PM's number.. though it's 6 now D: Ate at kopitiam instead of seoul garden cause it was too late and rush for seoul garden liao, and kopitiam is way cheaper than restaurants!

Oh yes and Callie and Wanqing has the exact same reaction about Feng Tian Wei: "HE'S SHE'S SO SHUAI!!!" LOL

After eating, Wanqing and I went carrefour to buy drinks while the rest went to buy crepes from saybon. Oh Esther and Pingghee went carrefour too but WQ and I didn't see them LOL. WQ wanted to pay for my ice lemon tea and insisted the cashier to keep her two 2-dollar note money (lol she gave 2 instead of 1. Then the cashier almost wanted to take her money you know! And I was like "Nonono! Take my money. Cause I have exact amount and you don't have to look for change." HAHAH EPIC RIGHT! xD So obviously she took my money instead of WQ. Cause if WQ paid I'll feel really really bad okay. Qianyi even said I did a good job saying that to the cashier haha.

Then Qianyi, Wanqing, Moony and Seryeen left first. Pingghee and Esther accompanied me to buy my new handphone! Thanks loads for accompanying me! Else I'll really feel weird buying a phone myself.. like imagine seeing a nanyang girl buying a handphone alone. Weird right? OKAY I LOVE MY NEW HANDPHONE! Haha it's my birthday present to myself and it's also to keep me occupied this weekend! Since my parents are overseas during this period of time. (Which means I'll be spending my birthday alone! Haha don't worry, I don't feel that sad about it, though it'll be a memorable birthday being alone at home watching kdramas! But some people will think it's a miserable one instead haha.)

WOOHOO I LOVE IT TO BITS!!

It has a full 3-inch touch screen, 5MP camera with stuffs like flash, smile and blink detector, super cool cover screen where you can move and hide widgets, radio, a 3.5mm audio jack which is really important to me cause I HATE THE SONY ERCISSON EAR PIECE CONNECTION, and most importantly.. WIFI!! Zomg lah! And the samsung salesperson told me that as long as you have any wireless connection where you're standing and you have wifi, you can go on internet FOR FREE ZOMFG. And I tried watching youtube vids and going allkpop using Wifi connected to my house's internet modem, and I checked my hicard balance and it's STILL THE SAME! Which means it's really free zomg! And the camera IS SUPER DUPER CLEAR! Oh and another thing now I have a memory space of 2GB WHOOOOTS~ I haven't even use up 1GB yet, which means I can continue downloading lots of vids and music in the future. WOOHOOOOOO!!

OH AND ANOTHER THING I ALMOST FORGOT. The samsung phone can READ KOREAN WORDS!! ZOMFG LAHH! Unlike sony ercisson.. it just show box box box for every korean syllable in my song title/artist/album name. Irritating lah! LOVE SAMSUNG TO BITS!! I WAS SO HYPER WHEN I SAW KOREAN WORDS ON MY PHONE HAHA! AND SAMSUNG IS A KOREAN HANDPHONE BRANE WHOOOOTS! (lol I feel so stupid I just found that out through wiki a few seconds ago)

Okay so won't be going OBS in the end. Half relieved yet half sad. Relieved cause it'll be real dirty and unhygenic there, and those insects and mosquitoes GAH! Sad cause i'll be missing real fun and tiring stuffs like JUMPING DOWN A CLIFF TO THE WATER ZOMFG SO FUN LAH, and trekking, and lots of stuffs. And I can't believe I'll still not know how to set up a tent by the end of sec3 haha. But anyway at least during LSC there's Callie! Whoots~ Haha shall bond with her more this period of time! I guess it'll be quite fun! xD

Before I end this post, want to say a big thanks you for those people who are the first few who gave me presents before my birthday! (Actually it's only 2 of them haha) First was CALLIE! That handmade 2PM notebook is simple yet really nice! I think I'll never use it cause she bu de. Haha. And the second person is WANQING! Her present is the most sincere present i think i'll ever receive in my life. (yes I know I sound cheesy here but the present is really sweet!) Never thought she'll keep her promise she made that day, even I almost forgot about it! Won't openly state what she gave me on this blog though. Haha but I'm still really touched everytime I think about it. xD
