333th post! Nice number :D
Wednesday was a pretty okay day. Just that French was so freaking boring and that made me more tired than ever. Eating KFC after French in a kinda stony mood, really sorry to you for not talking much and being so down throughout!
Thursday. Slept like some dead log the moment I got to my table. Almost slept through greeting teacher somemore gosh. Wushu after that was a roller coaster of emotions. With Qianyi and Wanqing getting pissed with the team and I didn't know what to do. Well it got fine after a while. And I realised trainings now are mostly just jibengongs and PTs. No taolu at all. I'm missing my tao now. I think the last time I did the whole thing was during competition, and that was like what.. in July?
As a vice-captain, my fellow batchies view me as a bridge between the DSA pros and the no wushu background not so pro people. Since Qianyi and Wanqing are the only DSA-ers in our batch. But frankly it's hard being this bridge okay. I feel like I'm often being compared to them in terms of skills. Like I don't deserve to lead the team cause obviously I'm not that good compared to them. My position as a vice captian is really awkward okay. Like I'm some extra post there. Which isn't nice at all. I will try my best nevertheless.
After trainings, I really don't know what exactly is going either, some stuffs got caught up. And now I think she's still pissed with me, and I'm really apologetic to her. People tell me that it's not my fault, it's just that she's too over-sensitive, and that she'll get over it soon. I really hope so.
Skylark'10 was great great great. :D Not only the concert itself, but the before and after. :D It was full house that day, but Shichun and I decided not to queue into the auditorium (Like during modern dance performance where we sat on the stairs outside auditorium half an hour before LOL). It was in a way a good decision not to squeeze our way in, cause the seat we were sitting at was directly in front of where Callie was singing! ^^ Super cool hehe! And took quite a few close up photos of Callie in Choir gown and CROSSDRESSSUIT ZOMG! She totally look like a guy, and I was practically going crazy in my seat haha! EVEN A GUY THINKS THAT SHE LOOKS LIKE A GUY OKAY. :D The dances the choir did turned out to be not bad, better than I expected! Cause Callie keeps telling me that the dance is screwed.
Really like the Totoro song, SO CUTE HAHA! And there was one song that really sounded like something you will hear in 妻子的诱惑. It's called Kimi wo Nosete. Close to you acapella was AWESOMEAWESOMEAWESOME. Got goosebumps from the high notes! I love it when they harmonise perfectly, and reach those freakingly high notes. Darn cool! Don't stop believing was not bad too, the beatbox was cool but a bit too loud. ABBA songs were awesome as well, the mass dance along with it suited them well too! Although it was only an hour long without intermission, it was worth the 12 bucks. :D
Looked for Callie after the concert, and she still look like a guy hehe! Except her the glittery eye shadow which is totally not suitable for her guy dressing. Gave her the orange crane, and glad that she likes the message inside!
Quite random thought here. I realised why it's always so hard to find my Dad in crowded, packed places. His height. He isn't really a very tall guy. kinda slightly below the average height of guys in Singapore I guess. And yea I think he is also part of the reason that I'm growing at a slower rate now, and that I'm still shorter than my mum when other girls my age are mostly way taller than their mothers. Imagine if you were to look for a 1.80+m guy, it's so easy okay. Just tip toe, look for a head that's popping above the crowd, and walk towards it. And there you have it! You found the person. So convenient! :D
Oh and thank you for making my day so much better! Despite how screwed I felt after trainings. I don't know what exactly you did either, but whatever you did (unknown to you and me) really lifted my spirits by the end of the day. Whoever who can succeed in making me happy no matter how screwed I feel before, is a really good friend. :)
PSL Presidential Elections, don't think I'll be running for it. Quite a number of people think I should, but I don't think I'm suitable enough to be one. More responsibility, more expectations, don't think I'm mentally prepared for the challenge yet. Plus the fact that I've vice president in Wushu already, I think I would rather give this chance to someone else more deserving. Jiayous for those going to run! And I really hope the someone I have in mind will become president! :D
Friday. SIX FUDAN GUYS CAME TO OUR CLASS. Darn cool. And gosh, they are tall. All 6of them. But I don't think they are taller than Jack hehe. The one sitting quite close to me, I guess about slightly less than half a metre away from me, turned out to be only 14 years old. While the rest are 16. Apparently he skipped grades. GOSH GENIUS OR SOMETHING. And he's rather nice, well compared to the other guys. A group of us talked to him while eating lunch, and the fact that he's willing to talk to us while the other 5 just gathered among themselves says something. Don't know if it's just me and Callie, but the rest of them really seem to be acting cool most of the time and it's really not shunyan. Apparently Sinlie said some were super smart and proud, which isn't nice at all. Oh the 14 year old one is 181cm! Gosh. And what's cool is that he shares the same surname as me. But he doesn't look like a 14 year old. I was totally shocked when I knew his age and was like staring wide-eyed in disbelief hahahaha. He seemed amused.
Oh yea and if you know how to read this word 簸, you are damn pro in chinese. Even the china guy had to check his chinese book for the hanyupinyin!
PE with the guys was a very interesting experience. I really wanted to play against them, since I've never played (modified) captain's ball against guys. It turned out to be really, tough. Hm. CAUSE OF HEIGHT ADVANTAGE LAH. When you throw a high ball, all they need to do is to simply raise up their hand and intercept the ball. And I kinda gave up defending them as well. Partly cause they were too tall for me, and partly cause I was scared of banging onto them or something.
And I don't get why some people must be so competitve, to the extend of shouting and screaming at her teammates what to do during the game, and looking all pissed during the game. Like seriously, it's just PE? You can be competitive, but don't go round screaming and shouting like mad. I was competitve during the match, but I kept it to myself (like what Callie said haha). Why can't you? Guess it's just your nature then, and through that match I'm glad I've known more about your personality.
Slept during SIL, and I really coudn't help it. 4 hours of sleep for the past few days isn't doing any good at all. Felt kinda guilty for sleeping. :/
Oh and yesterday was Racial Harmony Day celebration, we were allowed to wear ethnic costume but amazingly no one in our class wore. Haha. And apparently, some people wore things that weren't ethnic at all, but claimed that it was a ethnic costume cause it's eurasian. LIKE SERIOUSLY LAH. .____. Then I can just wear a shirt and jeans to school and say oh this is eurasian! Or what, wear a bikini to school saying it's eurasian too? (Okay I'm joking/exaggerating at this part obviously.) Some teacher's costume was seriously, hilarious. And I totally agree with Callie's post, can't help to laugh when comparing him to the other 6 guys, plus what he was wearing.
"The Fudan guys make the teachers who used to be tall, seem SHORT. It's so strange. Hilary was laughing when Mr. Tay came in, because we used to think he was quite tall, but next to the Fudan guys he seemed insignificant:)"
PSL Service Learning right after school ended. It was kinda cool bringing 20 PSLs on public buses. Hahaha! Like some primary school outing. Really glad that PSLs brought the stuffs necessary, cause I thought hardly anyone will and the activity will just die. But it turned out rather successful so yay! Some of the elderly were really cute, especially the old man who painted a face (the rest mostly painted the whole egg) on the egg and called it Mr. Botak! They seem to like the puzzle too, and I really think that idea is very creative! Really appreciated how much effort Jamie put into all the logistics needed in the activites, especially those egg shells she provided!
Went home, showered, and plonked right into bed. Can't believe I slept from 6pm-5am. Usually on Friday if there's nothing after school I'll sleep from 4pm-10pm, waking up to do a bit of work and back to sleep. Can't believe I was that tired. My piano teacher told me today to try sleeping at 10pm-2am. Exactly what Callie has been telling me countless of times in the past. Apparently her student does that too and it works. Maybe I'll try that out one day! But I'm scared I won't even wake up and just end up sleeping till it's time for school and tons of work not completed. Haha!
I want to see no evil and hear no evil. But it's getting hard.
