ESTJ

I realised that very few of my classmates blog, which is kinda sad. Cause I remember in lower secondary so many of my classmtes blog often, so whenever something interesting/epic happened in class it's quite amusing reading how people viewed it! Like now the only blogs I know of from my class are Callie's, Sinlie's and Kaixuan's, which is.. sad. :/
LA speech tomorrow! FINALLY. Cause reciting my script so many times can be quite, boring you know. Sometimes I get so bored by my own script that I wonder if my audience will be bored by it too. :/ Many people have been asking when I'm presenting, cause all of them know I'm going to talk about world cup and I guess they are really looking forward to my speech? Which kinds of pressurises me cause of the fear of letting them down.
And oh man the 6 Fudan guys' last day in our class today! Quite fail cause I don't know most of their names, only know their face. Won't miss them THAT much, but the fact that there's 6 tall guys just makes the class atmosphere.. more unique? I think I will totally miss their tall presence, and especially PE with them. It was crazy, and really different from our usual PE, but super fun nevertheless.
I realised that my ESTJ personality is projected quite strongly in some situations. Like recently I've been getting really irritated with teachers who are not organised at all in teaching. Those who don't teach in order, and like when they think of a random point they need to tell us they just pop it into whatever they are taling about, and those who don't even know what assignment they issued to us (like they are so disorganised even I myself don't know what I've handed in to them). And especially those that just keep repeating the same few random stuffs and not catching any of our attention at all. I'll get damn irritated and start complaining to Callie and end up chatting with her throughout the lesson.
One very good teacher that is totally suited to teach someone with a personality like me is Miss Teng. She's really organised, and everything she teaches goes topic by topic without jumping between random topics randomnly. And how she never blabbers on and on like nobody's business, instead she's really precise and to the point, something I really like cause I like direct and clear answers. Hate those long long answers whereby the answer is only at the end of the sentence, sometimes even worse the answer isn't even directly answering the question at all. Oh and her pace and speed is just nice for me (though most people think she's too fast D:) Really, really glad that I didn't do super super well for Math in semester 1 and got re-banded to Miss Teng's class, not that I hate Mr Khoo or anything, it's just that Miss Teng teaching style is really effective for me. If only all my subject teachers are like her.
Another thing about my personality is that I'm really critical (just that most of the time I keep it to myself and don't really let it out), and when I judge stuffs I always see the bad side first, which is bad I guess. But if something is too good obviously I won't be able to see any negative sides haha! Oh and I can get really agitated easily, which apparently scares Callie sometimes (Sorry callie!). And not only her, most people who knows me know that I get agitated at times.
As an ESTJ, your primary mode of living is focused externally, where you deal with things rationally and logically. Your secondary mode is internal, where you take things in via your five senses in a literal, concrete fashion.
ESTJs live in a world of facts and concrete needs. They live in the present, with their eye constantly scanning their personal environment to make sure that everything is running smoothly and systematically. They honor traditions and laws, and have a clear set of standards and beliefs. They expect the same of others, and have no patience or understanding of individuals who do not value these systems. They value competence and efficiency, and like to see quick results for their efforts.
ESTJs are take-charge people. They have such a clear vision of the way that things should be, that they naturally step into leadership roles. They are self-confident and aggressive. They are extremely talented at devising systems and plans for action, and at being able to see what steps need to be taken to complete a specific task. They can sometimes be very demanding and critical, because they have such strongly held beliefs, and are likely to express themselves without reserve if they feel someone isn't meeting their standards. But at least their expressions can be taken at face-value, because the ESTJ is extremely straight-forward and honest.
The ESTJ is usually a model citizen, and pillar of the community. He or she takes their commitments seriously, and follows their own standards of "good citizenship" to the letter. ESTJ enjoys interacting with people, and likes to have fun. ESTJs can be very boisterous and fun at social events, especially activities which are focused on the family, community, or work.
The ESTJ needs to watch out for the tendency to be too rigid, and to become overly detail-oriented. Since they put a lot of weight in their own beliefs, it's important that they remember to value other people's input and opinions. If they neglect their Feeling side, they may have a problem with fulfilling other's needs for intimacy, and may unknowingly hurt people's feelings by applying logic and reason to situations which demand more emotional sensitivity.
When bogged down by stress, an ESTJ often feels isolated from others. They feel as if they are misunderstood and undervalued, and that their efforts are taken for granted. Although normally the ESTJ is very verbal and doesn't have any problem expressing themself, when under stress they have a hard time putting their feelings into words and communicating them to others.
ESTJs value security and social order above all else, and feel obligated to do all that they can to enhance and promote these goals. They will mow the lawn, vote, join the PTA, attend home owners association meetings, and generally do anything that they can to promote personal and social security.
The ESTJ puts forth a lot of effort in almost everything that they do. They will do everything that they think should be done in their job, marriage, and community with a good amount of energy. He or she is conscientious, practical, realistic, and dependable. While the ESTJ will dutifully do everything that is important to work towards a particular cause or goal, they might not naturally see or value the importance of goals which are outside of their practical scope. However, if the ESTJ is able to see the relevance of such goals to practical concerns, you can bet that they'll put every effort into understanding them and incorporating them into their quest for clarity and security.
Totally agreed about the logical part first then emotional. So if I'm insensitive to you or anything please please pardon me! I'm not completely insenstive, just that when agitation gets the better of me I may just start 'shooting' people down with words. (Callie has witnessed this tons of times, LOL.)
