Gosh after IH and LA blocks today my class was practically party-ing during lunch? Darn funny and fun! Playing Tap Tap with Woonyee while Minghui and gang were blasting kpop and singing on top of their lungs. Everything went to crazy until someone thought of a brilliant idea to blast Lucifer when Mr Tay came in for lesson. He came late, and we ended up having this karaoke session singing 月亮代表我的心. LIKE LOL LAH. Then when he came we immediately switched the window to the Lucifer one and his reaction was totally EPIC.

(And having IH and LA lessons right after IH and LA blocks is pure LOL).

Then LA. Totally shocked Mr Tan out when he saw "Electra Complex" on our foolscap paper. His "AIYO!" sent me laughing like mad. Darn funny, and it totally reminded me of my LA speech.

Ahh haven't blogged about speech yesterday. Well it's over, and I wouldn't say I'm SUPER relieved it's over. I went up there slightly nervous and excited (yea Callie was trying to calm me down cause I started zi-highing way before my speech), and the whole speech really happened so fast. Like everything was over so fast. Oh the best part is Mr Tan's reaction when Sarah blew the vuvuzela. Cause I was supposed to start my speech right after she blew it, and when I said "Good morning everyone" I started laughing DURING MY SPEECH cause Mr Tan's shocked face was just too hilarious. Like cause his eyes are already really huge and when he's shocked it's even huge-er!

Well speech was fine I guess, though I totally didn't know I would forget the bonding with stranger part. Gosh. When I practice I never forget that part. But fortunately I didn't break down or anything. Class response was pretty good too, and I'm glad I made them laugh at least 3 times. Once at the "I REALISED I WAS WRONG IN THE PAST" cause I did this really extra action while saying it. Second one was at "wondering if Paul the Octopus will be correct again", that was really unexpected for me. And third was when I said I earned an extra dollar thanks to world cup (cause pretty much everyone knew about the bet between Sinlie and I). I think the third one made me forget the bonding with strangers part. Cause I was just blabbering one and one without even thinking about what my next line is, and suddenly BAM I forgot that paragraph for a moment.

Callie said my speech was good, saying that I was really high and could make people listening to me high too. People said it was good too, so I guess it should be alright? After it I kinda felt a bit sad that it was over so fast, like in a way it's quite fun to do a speech without script, cause it's something new and challenging. :D

*Vuvuzela blows* Good morning everyone, I hope I have woken all of you up. What you have just heard, is none other than the vuvuzela. And obviously, I’ll be trying to persuade all of you listening to me, TO LOVE WORLD CUPPP! Even though it has ended, BUT THE WORLD CUP FEVER WILL NOT END SOON.

I will admit that I had completely no feelings towards the world cup, and always questioned why guys go gaga over football, to the extent of betting their precious pocket money on it. Reading all those crazy facebook statuses that goes something like “GO GERMANYYY!” or “PORTUGAL I LOVE YOU!”,

People sacrificing their precious beauty sleep for the sake of watching a bunch of sweaty guys chasing after a tiny ball on a huge field, just did not appeal to me then.

BUT I REALISED. I WAS WRONG IN THE PAST.

The main reason why you should watch the next World Cup, is that it bonds people together. It bonds your family, friends, and even complete strangers!

With family members, staying up late together, sharing the same couch, staring intensely at the same TV, doing so many things together, is already a form of bonding! The best part is screaming GOALL together, and bouncing everywhere crazily in the house cheering for your team! This once in four years craze is something you simply cannot experience outside of world cup!

In school, talking about the scores, predicting who will win the upcoming match, and wondering if Paul the octopus will be correct again, this will indirectly bond friends together! And not forgetting, betting who will win, and thanks to the World Cup, I’ve earned an extra dollar!

About bonding with strangers, I was out with my friend who was wearing a Netherlands jersey when some random stranger approached him and suddenly started talking about who will win the world cup finals. In Singapore, you hardly see strangers talking to each other! And yet thanks to world cup, complete strangers can start conversing like old buddies, HOW AMAZING IS THAT?

So to those never appreciated the world cup, do open your heart to the magic the football. The football may seem like a boring circular item, but the magic of this ball has successfully united the world! THIS IS THE POWER OF WORLD CUP. Oh, and another thing, you can also look at really dashing guys while enjoying the match! So everyone, let’s look forward to the next 2014 FIFA WORLD CUP, AND SPREAD THE WORLD CUP FEVER! Thank you!

IH blocks was okay to me, just that I kinda crapped the last two questions cause I really didn't have much to say. I guessed I managed to finish it cause I have really fast handwriting, so it's kind of like an unfair advantage cause many many people didn't finish it? Well but I don't expect much from this paper either. LA was a surprise, cause it's the first time I understood a poem so well and could find so many stuffs in it. During practicises I'll always stone and poem and have no idea what in the world it means. Don't expect much from this paper too (since both IH and LA are my weaker subjects), but just glad that I managed to comprehend the poem :D Oh and the poem is nice! Really cool and meaningful.

And then after LA was like free period? Cause apparently Chinese was supposed to be swopped with LA (yea that means we were supposed to have double LA periods), but don't know why Mr Tan left the class? So we ended up doing our own stuffs. Most people were mugging, but I ended up spending the whole free period playing Tap Tap. First played myself with those SNSD songs cause it's so cool to be able to sing with the songs and play it, then played two player mode with Gah Yarn. First with three fingers then with one only. DARN FUN HAHA. Then we decided to have three people to concentrate on each of the three different buttons, namely Callie, Gah Yarn and I. And we had 95% accuracy which was pretty good. Played like that for several songs to get high score LOLOL. Gosh we played so much that Brenda's iPhone was practically on fire (but it was charging from the class's power point), and that my eyes later became damn weird and just yea pure weird.

And Teacher's Day Auditions! It's quite cool sitting in a position as a 'judge'. Like as if it was some American Idol thingo LOL. In no position to comment about the auditions here cause it's meant to be confidential, but this really rude junior just got on all of our nerves. Like:
Wan Li "Okay you can start now. 3, 2, 1!"
Rude Junior "Are you the conductor or am I the conductor"
LIKE LOL SERIOUSLY. And on the paper someone wrote "Rude √ √ √ √ √ √ " HAHA BEST LAH. Like she really has the guts to speak like that to a bunch of councillors and psl excos.

"People wasting petrol by queuing up at petrol stations for petrol." - some video screened during IH.

Oh and when I was taking the class key out today after school, (cause the class was locked and Woonyee and my bags were still inside), and when the nice lady from the General Office asked what class key I need to take in chinese, I answered "Sanba" and felt really weird.
