those unexpected actions

Yesterday was simply awesome.
I was supposed to meet up with Callie and Pingghee at 5 at Bishan MRT, but unexpectedly saw Samantha and Wanlin. Callie and Pingghee were late cause Callie couldn't find her SNSD socks to sell to me (it's okay Callie, can sell it to me some other time :D). And when both of them came to meet us Callie realised she forgot to bring her tickets (win lah!).
Had a really quick dinner at macs cause we realised that we might be short of time. After eating, while waiting for Callie to go back home to get her tickets, Pingghee, Samantha, Wanlin and I played with Samantha's iPhone outside Bishan MRT.
Imagine this scenario. Four girls huddling in a circle, staring intently at an iPhone. Seems like a pretty normal scenario right? So while we were in our iPhone world, I had this random thought of wondering how people were reacting to a random bunch of girls huddling in the middle of Junction 8 and Bishan MRT.
So, I raised up my head, and look over Pingghee's head (cause she's in front of me). And to my shock, horror and disgust, Steven Lim was staring right into my eyes. (If you don't know who he is, go google and youtube him, and you'll understand my reaction.) Immediately I went back to the huddle and told the rest. Apparently they too don't know him, but Samantha said later that she saw him winking at me. W T F.
I was completely freaked out, while Samantha googled his name immediately. Wanlin and Samantha seem very amused. Hm. We got into the MRT station to wait for Callie, and while waiting we were so bored that Samantha and I went up and took a second look at him (LOL). And as expected, he was asking girls, especially pretty chio ones, stuffs. Gosh. Freaky.
Callie arrived, and we took the train to Newton. Saw Shumin and Yueling at the bus stop, and waited 30min for 171. The electronic signboard that stated how long the bus will arrive wasn't even realiable.
Boarded the super crowded and packed 171. And there was a massive traffic jam. Worse thing is the bus driver said something like he's going by a different way? To play safe we all alighted. We were like two bus stops before Serene Centre or something.
Samantha and I half walked and half ran to Nanyang, while the rest were to lazy to run I suppose. Gosh it was quite pissing walking/runing in the drizzle, but it turned out quite fun in the end hahaha! Cause you could like shout really loud how angry you were without anyone noticing cause there was nobody but tons of cars. Traffic came practically to a standstill.
Walked/ran for about 15min? Met Jack at Nanyang bus stop 3 of us (Samantha, Jack and I) continue running all the way to the main gate. We were late, but fortunately the show started late too cause I suppose many people were caught in the jam too.
Oh yea turned out that the jam was caused by an overhead bridge near Sixth Avenue, read about it not long ago on Sunday Times.
Grabbed a couple of seats, and the show started. :D
The first play really brought tons of laughter. I was giggling in my seat like some crazy girl, sometimes laughing out really loudly. Gosh I just love the 2nd and 200th storey joke, it's lame BUT DAMN FUNNY HAHAHA. The Kpop dancing was... interesting. It wasn't really up to standard no offense, but it did kinda well entertaining the audience, though I spend most of the time looking at the big screen than the dancers. So sorry!
Second play, was kinda disappointed in it cause I didn't tear at all. I thought I would, really, and was prepared to. But it wasn't that intense for me to cry. Apparently people cried though. I guess it's kinda hard to make me cry. Only really intense Korean dramas like Stairway to Heaven and 玻璃鞋 will make me cry. So if I actually do cry at something, I guess it's really intense haha. Guys, drop that stereotype that girls cry a lot when watching Kdramas. It does apply to some, but definitely not me. :D
10min intermission after. Toilet break + Refilling water (gosh so much running made me really thirsty) + taking a glance at Fiona.
Third play. Beginning of it I didn't really pay attention cause I was wondering where Jack went to, and of course smsing him. Hmph. The third play was funny plus touching. I really really love that glow in the dark, creepy lightings on the tombstones and the Hell gate prop (I don't know what that prop name is haha). EH ANY NYJF-ERS READING IT, HOW DID YOU GUYS DO THAT LIGHTINGS ON THAT TOMBSTONE? Is it some special light projected on the props, or there's a light source in the tombstone, or the props are made up of special glow in the dark paper? Self reminder for me to ask Weihui when school reopens cause I doubt any NYJF-er reads my blog.
Got home really late after, at 11pm. Parents weren't home, as expected. Apparently they came home at 4.30am cause they watched both quarter finals outside.
*****
A guy who holds the door for not only the person behind him, but also the rest of the people after until there doesn't seem to be anyone exiting left.
A guy who could just walk to the Shell petrol station bus stop and take his bus, chose to walk all the way to Hwachong bus stop cause the girl takes bus from Hwachong side.
I wonder why the other girl wouldn't be interested in him.
But anyway, thanks to that guy, gentlemanly has been added to my list of criteria for a boyfriend. :D
Small, sweet and unexpected things really go a long way.
