if only they were true

Saturday and Sunday was pretty much my regular weekend. Nothing much. Other than maybe National Day on Sunday? Wasn't really that patriotic to go watch the whole parade (SORRY!), but ran out to catch glimpses of the fireworks on TV when friends told me online. Despite that I really enjoy singing National Day songs lah, We Will Get There, Where I Belong, Home. :D
Well today is the.. highlight of this blogpost! :D Today can be pretty much summarised like this:
Home -> AMK Hub -> Serangoon Stadium -> AMK Hub -> Orchard Ion -> Kinokuniya @ Ngee Ann City -> Cathay Cineleisure -> Plaza Singapura -> Cathay Cineleisure -> Orchard Ion -> Wisma -> Cathay Cineleisure -> Paragon -> Home
Home -> AMK Hub -> Serangoon Stadium -> AMK Hub
Dragged myself from bed at 7am, headed to AMK Hub, slept like a log on the MRT and was freaked out when I woke up cause the train was so packed suddenly (and right in front of my very eyes were packs of asses). Hanged around AMK Hub with Tracy till it kinda stopped raining and we went to Serangoon Stadium.
Jogged 3 rounds, then explored a bit at the fitness corner, and ran/sprinted 0.75 rounds. So ran about 1.5km in total. Not much, but still satisfying nevertheless. Especially when I don't have trainings for close to 3 weeks already.
Then Tracy taught me some volleyball skills! Digging, setting, and something that is like the easier form of spike and but I forgot the name. Quite cool! Cause I guess I can somewhat.. control the direction of the ball when I dig? Afterall when I play volleyball in the past it's entirely for fun and kind of anyhow de. Felt I was having some volleyball instructor haha! Oh, and sorry Tracy for being so noob most of the time. :/ But it was a good experience. :D Headed back to AMK Hub to grab a bite and take MRT to Orchard!
Orchard Ion -> Kinokuniya @ Ngee Ann City
Walked round Ion, nothing much except for walking around the basement level filled with darn expensive food stores, and the adidas shop? Oh and Tracy bought tons of Old Chang Kee. Went to kinokuniya to kill time. Saw very, very interesting books. And very, very interesting magazines. Like what Tracy said that went something like, "There's so many books about sports, ironically, when sports are not related books at all."
Cathay Cineleisure -> Plaza Singapura -> Cathay Cineleisure
Went to Cathay Cineleisure to meet the rest of the YCJ, and we realised that Cineleisure didn't have Pepper Lunch (which in the end they did gosh, and YCJ ate Pepper Lunch at Cineleisure .___.) and we were craving for it. So we walked all the way to Plaza Singapura to eat that. Then took MRT from Dhoby Ghaut to Somerset cause if we walked we'll be hungry again. Met the rest of YCJ at Cineleisure.
Orchard Ion -> Wisma -> Cathay Cineleisure
Turned out Despicable Me at 3.30pm was completely full house, so they ended up buying tickets for Inception at 5pm but some of us didn't go. Cause watch before + will end very late + got school tomorrow + first day of seventh month. Went to Ion and Wisma cause apparently some YCJ-ers wanted to buy starbucks. Can't believe I bought the biggest serving of Chocolate Chip Cream Frappucino. Must be nuts then or something. $7.80 gosh! But at least I finished it, and got frozen by it several times while drinking.
Some people ate at Soup Spoon, and Tracy and I were like.. gosh we just ate here before LOL. Went back to Cineleisure cause their movie was starting, and those who is watching Inception and those who aren't parted ways.
Paragon -> Home
Tracy tried to find bubble tea but failed, ended up with Soya Milk instead, while I got Old Chang Kee! Gosh saw like don't know how many Old Chang Kees during today lah! But it's nice and cheap! Though it's unhealthy and deep fried and oily. O:
Went home by MRT, and gosh was so damn tired that I stood and slept on the MRT. Cause no seats. Can't believe I actually successfully slept standing up. Moreover my legs already felt sore from so much walking. (Yea Tracy and I pretty much walked the stretch between Ion to Cathay Cineleisure 3 times .___.)
And can't believe I spent another 9 hours with Tracy today. Like 9am-6pm. Amazing man. OH TRACY TAKE GOOD CARE OF MY OLD HANDPHONE. Even though I abandoned it already it was still my love in the past. :D
Thanks to this super long holiday, it seems like ages since I last took blocks. Gosh. AND SHIT ARE WE GETTING OUR PAPERS BACK SOON O: Whatever lah, don't really care man.
I'm glad that I'm lucky enough not to get affected by it always, unlike most females. Guess it runs in the genes. :D
