High time I start blogging. Planned to sleep right after unpacking my stuffs from PSL camp but just felt weird going to sleep.. no idea why. :/
This year's EOYs were rather.. okay to me I guess? Found them manageable - it wasn't particulary easy that I breezed through everything, neither was it so difficult that my brain feels like exploding and I started panicking like mad till I couldn't sort out my thoughts. Don't expect much of my results, cause now EOYs seem so.. far away to me. Oh but one thing I'll missed about EOYs are taking exams in the hall. I remember being really nervous and scared during the first paper in the hall (math paper 1), wasn't used to the big spacious space I suppose, but it's actually quite cool in the hall. And I guess the aircon helped me concentrate a lot more, and the hall seems much brighter than the classrooms somehow.
After math paper 2 I didn't feel particulary happy or relieved that EOYs were over, it wasn't that kind of feeling like... YEA OMG IT'S OVER OMGOMGOMG. I WANNA GO OUT PLAY OMG. I felt... normal. Oddly enough. Probably cause I know I'll be way busier after EOYs?
Blogging on the school's laptop I loaned for BSC. Gosh so comfortable to surf the net while lying on my bed. And the laptop is not bad! xD
PSL camp. A.I.R Aspire. Inspire. Respire
It was tiring, but the experience was simply amazing, and exco'10 :D understood the whole of exco so much better, can't believe it's our last PSL camp, but I'll definitely come back next year.
Love the day we got together before the camp, going out to buy logistics, sorting out logistics, going to sentosa to dry run amazing race, and then staying in the boarding school was awesome. It's like this suite with living room, kitchen and 3 rooms. Bunk bed ftw! Eating cup noodles for a super late dinner, than staying up with Bernice to work on powerpoint. Am really grateful to Bernice's friend!
Day 1 was mainly tekan, and I'm quite surprised with myself for jogging 3 x 700m straight. It's only 300m left to 2.4km, when usually during NAPFA I'll feel so much tired. PT later was quite tiring, but very satisfying. Second part of tekan was much more fun! Manned station with Peiting and Eva, and surprisingly I felt quite comfortable talking to them. Turned out exco'09 is actually nice! Had A LOT OF FUN bullying those blindfolded people in the room by pushing tables and chairs to block their way and stacking them and trapping them using the tables and chairs such that it's seems impossible to come out. It was super amusing gosh. Like Bernice's instruction to Ling Ting to butt slide on the table, Kylee pushing everything blocking her way crazily despite being blindfolded, and that crazy Joey who got out BY HERSELF in barely a minute. Then while waiting for other groups Eva and I found a chinese and korean song with the exact same tune! COOLIOS.
Day 2. Amazing race at sentosa, fortunately it didn't rain, but only 5 groups came to my station so I felt bored and sleepy half of the time especially cause I'm manning the station alone. Leadership training with sec 3s were quite fail heh. Half the time was quite productive, but the other half was almost like partyinggg time. AND THEN NIGHT TRAIL. Preparation for it was crazy, sticking black trash bags together for costume. Scotch-taping 2 bodies together, then tying them to a head. Quite amusing how I kept clarifying with Joey if the bag was head or body cause it's kinda hard to tell LOL. Kidnapping was something new but the people kidnapped weren't really that scared. Riddle with the 4 concoctions was cool xD Then floating around school in that stuffy garbage bag. Went to the hall to accompany Shanna to scare people cause she has the SUPER DUPER SCARY MASK. Which frightened quite a lot of people. But oh gosh the garbage bag is so super stuffy and hot, my specs were totally foggy, could barely see a thing when walking unless I open the hole and reveal my face, and was dreanched in SWEAT from head to toe, even my hair was drenched. But it was fun nevertheless. Though it kinda disturbs me that someone thought that I was either Bernice or Cheryl Choo. Showering at 11+ after the night trail didn't turn out as scary as I thought it would, and surprisingly I didn't feel scared at all walking around the school during the night trail either.
Day 3 water games~ the games were fun, but the AFTER part was the best. How random groups got together with the excos in the two stations next to each other start splashing water at each other and throwing water bombs. Then this sec 1 PSL kept trying to make sure I was fully drenched, and dapping those dry spots on my clothes with sponge. Then getting so drenched that I could feel my underwear getting wet too. First time I was so drenched during water games. Darn, darn fun. :D Prize presentation, and then montage which was lovely! Heh Shanna's unglam picture.
Saw both nice and ugly sides of people during this camp, got closer to several people, it was definitely an interesting and meaningful experience.
And now, what's left is packing for BSC. Can't believe I'm leaving in only about 4/5 days. I used to think the trip is so long later, but now it seems so, so, fast. I'm excited about it of course, but I feel a tinge of reluctant-ness. Oh well.
I'll be there when the world stops turnining. I'll be there when the storm is through. In the end I wanna be standing at the beginning with you.
