I haven't been really talking much about what gm and I usually do when we go out together on this blog (or to anyone too) cause I don't like being too open, but I'm going to start being a bit more open cause I want to also use this space to remember what we do together since we have countless of dates/outings!

4th December 2013

The boy was running late for our date cause of the MRT screwing up a bit, so I had like 30min to myself to do some window shopping at cineleisure. Well, window shopping, I thought. Ended up spending $47 at a shop called Femme X omg someone whack me please. And I spent that in like perhaps 15min of shopping or less? Here was what happened to led to that fateful $47 being spent:

Was just looking through their clothes and found this chio tribal print dress at only $19 and was pretty set on buying that. Tried it out and yay it fits and went to the cashier.

Cashier said, oh if you buy one more item you get a necklace free, pointing to a necklace on display. Somehow my stupid brain was like OH COOL might as well and went to take this bag which caught my eye earlier on but I gave it a pass cause it was $24.

After that, the cashier added, we're giving you a $5 voucher, which you can use when you visit next time if you purchase a minimum of 3 items. She suggested me a 3rd item now so I don't have to purposely buy 3 items next time to use the voucher, which made sense to me at that point of time (but now I'm like gah I should have ignored the voucher $5 nia)

So I got the cheapest thing there, which was a $9 accessory (a set of 3 different bangles which I hope I do use them one day). So I ended up with a bag, a dress, 3 bangles, and a free necklace (which I realised I doubt I'll wear it cause it's too boomz for me), all for $47. Okay perhaps it's quite worth it cause it's a quite atas boutique and all, but I really have no idea when I'll use those accessories aish. ):

AND I NEED MORE SPACE IN MY ROOM. Shopping bags are gradually consuming my room's walking space.

Ok then the boy finally came...in a hwachong shirt ._. (cause he came from his chalet) We got our hunger games ticket (YAY) and went over to h&m to find him a nice tee (which we did YAY).

Went to New Look to get my prom shoes but they didn't have my size (WAE) and they said only city square mall has it. The boy suggested going there after the movie which was a pretty good idea.

HUNGER GAMES WAS AWESOMEEEEE omg so good man. Jennifer Lawrence's acting is godly and all the effect and storyline is madness.

Then we headed down to city square mall, and saw some Thomas and Friends stage show LOLs. Anyway almost died cause I didn't see my shoe design on the rack, turned out they have it in their storeroom (weird sia). And then almost died when I realised my size suddenly felt so much smaller, got another pair of the same size and it was just perfect. Weird sia 2 same-sized shoes but different size when I try them on O.O

(Okay I have no idea if this is getting boring for you all LOL)

Headed to Swensens for dinner cause the boy has never eaten there before and it was a loonggg while since I ate there.

GM's spicy seafood pasta, which he had to add a dash of ketchup to make it nicer LOL. The presentation was disappointing, cause the menu's one was like WOW

My sambal fish - the fish was toooooo dry (felt a bit overcooked), but the sambal was terrific (I finish every drop of it till gm called me mad), and their mashed potato was awesome!

So you can't leave Swensens without trying their icecream, and deciding on what icecream to share is like death for both of us. He likes berries and sourness while I like nutty and chocolately stuff, which are like world's apart so we hardly ever share icecream LOL.

Settled with Swensens' classic Coit Tower, WHICH WAS YUMMY! The banana inside made it heavenly, and they were super generous with the bananas!

Overall we were quite disappointed with the mains, and it would be quite some time before we would come back here LOL. But their icecream is still awesome!

5th December 2013

Went to Maxwell Food Centre for lunch, cause gm always wanted to bring me there and I have never been there!

First thing I tried was none other than Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice which Gordon Ramsay tried replicating! I am still so bitter that I couldn't get to sample the dishes cause of exams rawr!

Anyway this was AMAZING MINDBLOWINGLY GOOD. It was quite pricey, $3.50, and the long queue seemed daunting but they were actually really efficient! Their chilli has this fresh sour taste to it, and it's really good! I never liked chicken rice chilli and this is the first time I'm actually touching it and even finishing the whole saucer of it! (Usually I would just spam my rice with the black sauce)

Their soup was MADNESS I have no idea how to describe it but it's just too good! Chicken was mega tender and thick! I felt like the rice was a bit dry but it was delicious nevertheless! Typing this is making me hungry oh gosh.

After this I grabbed a youtiao, laoban's soya bean drink (which taste pretty interesting haha different from normal soya bean drink) and shared some 饺子 with the boy! This place is crazy omg there's like this other chicken rice stall with leehsienloong's and leekuanyew's pictures on it!

Then we headed to the boy's internship place at URA! The gallery is pretty cool la! Lotsa development going on around my house LOL see how much they have been neglecting my area!!

The amount of work needed to create these models is madness! And this is not just the only model there's even one hugeass one of the whole Singapore which you can even locate your house. The details and everything....gosh I don't know how these people have the patience for it.

We played this mega cool game where we are supposed to plan a mini country which has limited land sapce (like Singapore) and ensure people are happy and have money and all the respective facilities and infrastructure is there! Damn fun spamming office buildings and mrt stations LOL! See if you can find a Singapore flyer here and FOUR merlions (HAHAHA)

Our highest point attained after 3 rounds! This game is for up to 8 people but there were only 2 of us so I think this is score is not bad? (:

For dinner we went to Bukit Merah Food Centre for SAMBAL STINGRAY YUMYUM!

Ordered the biggest plate of sambal stingray for $15, sambal kangkong for $8 and spicy salted vegetable soup with fish for $5! Super duper sumptuous!

One of the reasons why I love going out with this dude is that we will always eat good and fairly affordable food! ^^ (And I'm not gaining weight yet - in fact losing weight I don't even know how my body functions LOL)

6th December 2013

(sorry for the cui off-focus...my cui phone's camera)

Went down to JURONG EAST SWIMMING COMPLEX cause it's one of my post A's activities! Once we changed out and had everything in the locker, guess what happened? Lightning alert occured and we were back to the shelter after being outdoors for like 5 seconds.

Camped at KFC for close to 3 hours to wait for the rain to stop and for lightning alert to stop blinking so annoyingly. The KFC damn cool la got 2 sections, one for outsiders and the other for people who have entered the pool (cause it's a single entry thing). Throughout the 3 hours we had an ultimate box, shrooms burger and snackers. And we talked a lot of bullshit and played random games which included a 2 people heart attack HAHAHA! (which failed terribly of course cause I lost in the first 2 rounds and refused to continue LOL)

It was finally all-clear at 1.30pm and OFF WE GO!!!

First thing we did was to enter the lazy pool! Two rounds of lazy pool with the $2 for 2 hours float (MADNESS) really did make me feel lazy. And there were horrible splashes of water here and there which will make you think twice before going for the next round so it kinda reduces that laziness LOL.

Then DA SLIDES!!! Tried the pink one, which is 3 levels high, and then the blue one which is 4 levels high. It wasn't scary at all HAHA but quite fun la with the float and turns and all! Then we tried that small yellow one which is 2 levels high. According to gm it is the least scary one cause it's the shortest one.

WHAT LEAST SCARY it was the worst omg. It was the only slide out of the 3 which did not allow floats, so you are completely stripped off the comfort and safety of a float. When you enter the slide. before you know it, you experience a frigging 40 degree drop (if I estimated correctly) and you crash into the water with water entering your nose and all omg. TRAUMATISING I refuse to go another round cause of the after-effects of water in nose. GM went for a second round though and got more water inside him LOL.

Went to the 50m olympic swimming pool to swim for a bit lest we become fat pigs. It was utterly scary for me cause it has been AGES since I last swam. But brave brave me swam 10 laps without attracting the attention of the 2 lifeguards (clap please HAHAHHA).

Explored the random playgrounds around for kids, then we headed for the WAVE POOL which was huge and reached like 1.8m depth omg. THIS WAS TRAUMATISING. Okay let me clarify myself, the waves was fun and the effect was damn cool like titanic and all, BUT THE RAIN SPLASH THING THAT CAME FROM THE SKY WAS HORRIBLY COLD OMG.

So you are like bobbing around and suddenly they will be a gush of cold splatters on you. I was literally clinging onto the float for my dear life (although I could swim) and shivering from all the water droplets. Then gm was acting all titanic saying ROSE DON'T DIE while I was screaming vulgarities at the coldness. I'm so glad it was over....after a seemingly forever 15 minutes omg.

But yea this place is SUPER WORTH IT like $1.50 for adult entrance and $0.80 for child entrance, and you pay only $2 more for the floats! YAY TO CHEAP FUN PLACES!

Even the shower place was good and clean man! First time going to a public pool please don't judge haha!

Saw this steamboat restaurant on the way to the MRT and decided to try it! It's only $20 nett and there's no time limit omg super good! And I was pretty sold by the 麻辣汤.

You can choose 3 different levels of spiciness for the 麻辣, and we chose the middle one!

They even have crabs omg! Lotsa people who went there piled their plates with heaps of crabs! We only had this piece cause it was too difficult to eat them and we were too lazy LOL! Their prawns was mega fresh, I had only 2 cause I was too lazy to peel it (gm peeled for me those 2) while gm ate like at least 20 prawns I believe. The fish was AWESOME with the 麻辣 omg I ate quite alot of the fish!!

Meat!! They have 羊肉, 猪肉, 牛肉 and chicken but we didn't get the chicken. SUPER GOOD OMG! 羊肉 is quite rare for me and this was goooood! Damn worth it la their spread!

Veggies! I dumped a brocolli into the mala and chicken soup broth each and the 大白菜 in the mala soup and the 老板娘 totally judged me and said shouldn't put veggies in mala! BUT EH it was nice kay! A bit sinful cause the mala oil will totally get stucked on the veggies but DAMN GOOD! Even gm agreed after accidentally putting the mushrooms in the mala side HAHA.

All the different balls! EATING THIS WITH MALA TOTALLY REMINDED ME OF THE MALA STALL IN BSC OMG miss it ttm! The fishball with mala IS HEAVENLY!

They even served homemade 饺子, which was apparently special for that day! THIS WAS SOOOO GOOD omg I think both of us took close to 20 of them! Chinese people really do magical stuffs man, it's only 猪肉 and 大白菜 inside but I tasted heaven.

Oh there was this table filled with 4 China dudes and they each ordered for themselves one bottle of beer. So it was 4 bottles on a table. And it didn't just stop there, they went for another round of beer so 8 bottles were on their table. 2 of them became really red and it was really scary. D: And they had heaps and heaps of meat and seafood, their whole steamboat was literally orange with prawns and crabs.

On the contrary, we saw these 2 mega fat (sorry for the bluntness they were really huge I have not seen any hwach guy fatter than them) Singaporean boys with their relatively skinny mum. We thought they would eat heaps but they ate so little that they came later than us and left earlier than us LOL.

This was the first buffet for us that we could eat non-stop for a mega long period of time without feeling bloated too quickly! We were there from like 4.45pm to 7.30pm LOL. (I MISS THEIR 饺子!!)

Ok this marks the end of my mega long post on our 3 consecutive outings together HAHA! The reason why we keep seeing this other this week is cause next week and subsequent weeks we would have less time together! ): So must spam outings for now hehe!

Pretty excited for this which is coming in the next week!! (:
