history: learnt about the indus valley civillisation. here are some facts about the indus valley civillisation!!!

location: pakistan and northwestern india

over the next 500 years, many food-producing communities sprang up in the valley

harappa and mohenjo-daro are complex cities because they have a fixed hierachy of social classes and specialization of labour.

the indus valley was home to the largest of the four ancient urban civilisation of egypt, mesopotamia, india and china

it was not discovered until the 1920s

most of its ruins, including major cities, remain to be excavated

its script had not been deciphered. basic questions about the people who created this highly complex culture are unanswered.

it is often referred to as Harappan Civilisation after its first discovered city, harappa

nanzhong quan: the teacher was very unhappy and unreasonable. again. the first thing he told us after greeting was:

"你们要练习的。如果我看到你们坐在地上跟朋友讲活，我会告诉你把南中圈全都做一次，在全班面前做！"

i mean, how can a teacher just command students this way. so when he went out of the rooftop hall, all of us were slacking while one person was on guard. when he was going to come, the person will shout, "老师来了！老师来了！" then we will all quickly pretend to do nanzhong quan. hahaha!!

chinese: teacher was talking about 实用文. i almost fell asleep. then she proceeded to talk about the textbook. i found out that i brought the b book instead of the a book! io suddenly remembered her saying this to one of my classmates, "每带课本，把全课都抄下来！" i took out the b book and flipped to a page that looked like the one whe was talking about. sometimes she came so near i thought she was about to catch me. so scary! i was on tenderhooks throughtout the whole of chinese. then when the bell rang to signal the end of lesson, i heaved a sigh of relief. (i feel that i am writing a piece of composition now, haha!)

recess: did my duty which comprises of cleaning the window and sweeping the floor. sweeping the floor is my weekly routine but cleaning the window isn't. it was my punishment for not sweeping the floor last week. boo hoo!! anway i manged to finish doing it in like 10mins!! yeah! record breaker!! went to library to return 2 dvd movies and borrowed a vcd, a dvd and 2 garfield chinese comic books

geography: it was realllllyyy boring. mrs amy kept digressing and i think i probably know her whole lifetime story by the end of her lesson. she went from agriculture to the fact that she did not have enough money to buy food during recess when she was in primary school. she only drank plain water. her mother had only primary 2 education and she did not go to kindergarden, so she practically failed all her spellings. she knocked on her neighbour's door but her neighbour wouldn't answer her, this made her feel humilated thus she started working real hard. this is the reason why she could graduate form university. becacuse she could not bear the humilation that her friend gave her. then she said that she often drank coke to fill up her stomach when she was hungry and this had made her health worse. she said that she is aging must more faster than her other friends the same age as her.

lang arts: talked about the 'see' statement

lunch: ate lunch and bought a photocopying cad for $5.50

art: mrs tan talked about the left and right side of the brain. left side of the brain is verbal while right side of the brain is visual. i have totally no idea which side of my brain is stronger, cause sometimes one side seems stronger than the other.

class contact time: talked about what we were going to do for lion's befrienders' day. i was so totally high that time. you now the cheer? it's like:

it was so funny lor, i had a sore throat because i laughed too much.
