psl camp was so fun!!! the only thing that was not good about it was that it was
super tiring and i think my response to my name is a lot slower now. cause there
is another hilary who is also a sec 1 psl, but her name is different from mine, so at
first when someone just said ,"hilary!" i would respond immediately, sometimes it
referred to her and sometimes me, so slowly everytime when someone calls for hilary, i will always pause and guess which hilary she is referring to, so this kinda slows down my respond!

first thing we did in camp was amazing race, and we get to get out of school! we
went to town!! the first place we went to was esplanade rooftop. we had to do some performance and we did snow white and the seven dwarfs. then we went to suntec city convection centre. we ran there!! moreover i had to carry this 1.5 litres coke. so i was carrying and running. haha. so at suntec ciry we had to find several things that matched the picture given and take a creative group picture with them, so fun! then we went to the koi pond in suntec city and there we fed the fishes, that station was more for fun. we went to the fountain of wealth, and went round that fountain while wishing a wish. we had our picnic there and then a grop of indian tourists came. one of our bonus question was to take a video with tourists saying, "we love singapore." so after thaking a video with them, we took like more than five pictures and videos with the indian tourists saying that we love india... so weird..... anyway, moving on, after feeding we went to carrefour and had to look for some items and find out their price, but another group told us that the security guard scolded them, so we skipped that station. then after that if i remembered correctly, we went to raffles city marketplace and had to buy three items staring with either b or c. we bout brownies, chips and chocolate chips cookies all from subway. then we went to that war memorial, i forgot the name, but its that tall tall tower which comprises of four tall tall pillars representing the four races in singapore. there, some people had to copy down the tamil words carved there while the others had to look for some things. i copied down the tamil words and it was fun!!! cause writing down words that i don't know was like doodling! then later i am not so sure what happen cause it was quite confusing. we had to look for some building which was super faraway and look for some white beautiful arch (a white bridge) and we didn't cause i think there was no time. on the way back to school, we bought slurpee from seven eleven! anyway, by the time we reach school, all of us were very tired from all the brisk walking and running, and according to my step counter in my handphone, i walked a freaking 9.6 km!!!

then i think we played captains ball. i couldn't play properly cause i was practically laughing like mad cause the game was so funny. the ball dropped into the carpark like two times! (we played in the quadrangle)

later we had a workshop about hosting skills. quite fun, and we get to role play and even, nanyang scholarship prize presentation, it was very fun! there were guests, teachers, principal, guest of honor, ushers, registration people, emcess, drinks person, prize givers, award recipents etc. i was that prize giver with shi chen and we had to pass the prizes to the guest of honor. it was very funny and real like.

later we played wacko with all the other sec 1 psls so that we get to know their name better. so the other hilary kept calling me (hilary) so someone would call the other hilary and the other hilary would call another hilary which is me, kinda confusing right? yah, so i had to practically listen very carefully which hilary people were referring to, and when they called me, i always called wanli cause her name is so easy to say in a very fast way. you don't have to stress on anything and jsut say wanli! in less than one second!

then we had a school tour to know how to be tour guides for the visiters who visit nanyang for example during open house. by then everyone was dead tired cause of the amazing race, we haven't even rest yet! so during the school tour people were half dead half alive, including me.

after that we finally got to bathe!! surprisingly i didn't have to queue at all! bathing was exactly like how we bathed during lifeskills camp, so there is no need to go into the details of the bathing process. oh, and in nanyang the switch are
automatic right? so the lights will always switch off when the last few people are still bathing. so after bathing i needed to go to the toiled. when i entered the lights swtiched on and the people were like, "finally! the lights are on!" haha, so funny! :D

so after bathing we had dinner! dinner was chicken rice and egg, very yummy!!

after dinner we sang some camp song while the seniors were bathing. there was this japanese song which is very nice, but i can't remember the lyrics. anyway, it was very very fun!! :D

so then we had our night trail. we had to solve some murder case. at first all of us
were very scared, including me! i was so terrified that my legs were wobbling like
mad. cause the first station we had to go was the photocopying shop, and that place is situated in a very ulu place and it was very dark. so our group was so terrified that we went back to conference room (where we were supposed to 'stay' during the camp) and miss lye was encouraging us to go back. when we went back we were equally scared and then we started playing girlfriend to calm us down while waiting for the next group to come. so when the next group came we followed and it turned out to be not so frightening and it was actually interesting and fun! the only scary part was that one of the ghost had her hair down and it was freaky especially when it was so dark.

after that we watched movie at about 10pm! we watched step up!!!! i didn't get to watch it and i heard that it was nice! the movie was great! and they dance super pro lor! we watched and ate bread and drank milo. but the only part i didn't like was that the ending of the show was the main gal and guy kissing, it's like so.... like happily ever after kind and it's not really interesting to me.

so then we slept! the aircon was freezing cold and luckily i brought my jacket. shi chen said that she was honored to sleep between two hilarys, haha! :D

the next day i had flu and sore throat. didn't know how i get me sore throat but when i talked i sounded like a man. got my flu cause i am not very used to sleeping in aircon room.

so we had some 'intensive physical training' which actually turned out to be playing some games like this egg to chick to chicken to super chick to god thing and that tree and squirrel game.

we had breakfast! we ate the mini chicken pie, kueh and milo!

then we had some sort of group gathering and we started talking about our thoughts and all that kind of stuffs.

then we played this game called so you think you are right which is actually like some kind of debate which we look at someone's point of view and think who is to blame for a car accident. and it was quite cool cause there were two debaters in the camp and the other one, nettie, was the judge.

then later was photo taking, each group had to pose in their group's letter and we had a psl group photo at the quadrangle.

after that was lunch! lunch we ate rice, cauliflower and fried fish! :D

afterwards we had to plan for 2009, like we had to give suggestions if we wanna make any changes to the sec 1 orientation. then was mass water games!!! it was so fun! cause it made us all wet! :D

we had to clean up our assigned area after that, haha, just like lifeskills camp.

then there was some bad news whereby the exco came out with a psl demerit system. everyone was so stress about it and kept asing lots of questions. the teacher in charge ms teo was trying to tell us something about behaving well when her handphone rang and apparently the ringtone was a paris hilton one!

then it was prize presentation! and surprisingly for the night trail our group got the murderer correct! :D and our facil mangaer (an exco psl, each exco was assigned to a group) described our group as marathon-loving cause during the amazing race we were practically running like mad.

anyway, the camp rocks! but i was dead tired at the end of it. :X
