PSL service learning with the elderly was awesome! They were really quite enthu during the games which is great! ^^ And they totally love the game whereby they had to identify us in our childhood pics! :D
17-18 June Thursday-Friday
Math supp with Mr Khoo to catch up with other classes. Kinda mixed feelings cause it'll be my last lesson with him. Good and bad really. He's good, but sometimes too good and thorough that it gets a bit boring and difficult to pay attention. Well but now I'm enjoying Miss Teng's lessons!
19 June Saturday
Piano in the morning as usual! Blogging about this lesson cause I'm so darn happy that I'm finally starting on some Grade 7 pieces as my teacher wants me to have a taste of Grade 7 since the new syllabus hasn't come out yet. Which means I'm kinda promoted to Grade 7 so yay! Considering that I started quite late hehe! So here are the pieces I'm learning now! Really damn excited!
Lowside Blues by Joanna Macgregor (C1 piece) I remember Cherie letting me hear this piece on youtube before, saying how cool it is! And this piece is really cool lah! Love it to bits. But the back part seems a bit hard, with glissando at 1:01-1:03, and I love this part cause it sounds really magical 1:14-1:17.
Andante Moderato by Faure (B1 piece) My teacher was saying that this piece sounds like some Korean Drama OST. Totally agreed about it, dunno why while listening play this piece it totally reminded me of 妻子的诱惑!
And in my previous post I put 20 June - Sinlie but I really cannot remember what that day has to do with her. So yea lets skip that day. Oh is it meeting her somewhere while eating? I THINK?
21 June Monday
YCJ Outing and crashing facs bowling! Was the only yebol-er to attend, damn sad can. But buffet at nihon mura was awesome, though I felt the rest had damn small stomach or something? LOL we had to play a game to finish the leftovers somemore! And bowling was fun! Tried twice and none went to the gutter so yay! And I can't believe I can hold the ball with one hand haha! Last time I played bowling when I was in lower primary (I think), I still had to clutch the ball with both hands! Oh and Shannon pro lah her 5 tries all go gutter! Dinner after that at West Mall and found out a Sec 3 Hwachong guy who lives damn near my house, and apparently takes the same bus as me to school but I've never seen him in my life before. LOL.
22 June Tuesday
Woke up at 5am to leave for Malaysia! Slept throughout the journey there but halfway through it was raining real heavily, plus the aircon in the car made it really chilling. Hm halfway through went to some shopping centre and they were screening Portugal vs North Korea Match! Had so much fun watching all 7 goals LOL! GOSH RONALDO'S SMILE IS SO.... :D
Oh and in the car I noticed this in the sky! Really pretty so took a pic of it!
It's like 天晴过雨 lah! Opposite of 雨过天晴 haha!
Checked in at some hotel at Kuala Selangor after that.
23 June Wednesday
Checked out of the hotel real early and proceded to Perhentian (bet hardly any of you out there know where this is!) It's like 2 islands really close to each other that is part of Malaysia and it's known for really clear and pretty waters that's great for snorkelling and diving! We had to take a 30 minute motor boat to the island, and gosh sitting on the motor boat is simply exhilarating. The water was really blue and pretty, plus the boat was going at high speed, crazy wind blowing at your face, and experience bumpings during the boat ride due to waves, gosh simply memorable :D But it'll definitely be a no no for those with sea-sickness haha!
Checked in to Arwana which is located off the shores of Perhentian. 40 min hike to a nearby resort was CRAZY. Hiking in slippers is scary. I was so damn scared of destroying/tearing my slippers. Plus I was only wearing FBTs (cause wearing swimming costume under in case we're going to the sea), and those really tall grass and whatnot were tickling/scratching me. Gosh horrible experience.
But after the hike was great! Snorkelling! It was my first time snorkelling and the briefing before it completely freaked me out. Like the person was showing us all sorts of poisonous and dangerous fishes to look out. Stuffs like sea urchins, stingrays completely freaked out. AND EVEN A SHARK WHICH APPARENTLY DOESN'T EAT HUMAN UNLESS PROVOKED. But it's still freaky okay. Well but turned out it wasn't that bad! Had to get use to the snorkelling equipment at first, bit so hard on the mouthpiece that I was really worried that my teeth moved or something. Oh and lifejacket is really important man! Unless you're a damn pro swimmer. :D Corals were beautiful, saw tons of fishes, EVEN TOUCHED THEM OKAY. Like literally touched, had to do it fast though, else they'll swim away haha!
And we saw turtles too! DARN COOL GOSH.
Then in the night was watching Slovakia VS England match. Slept during second half cause it was so darn boring and I didn't strongly support any of them.
24 June Thursday
Second snorkelling session in the morning! The previous one was in the afternoon! This time Mum brought a huge bottle filled with bread to attract the fishes! Gosh once there was bread, huge swarms of fishes came to it AND IT'S DARN COOL. Cause you can put your face right in the middle of the swarm and see all the fishes UP CLOSE. Some even came so close to my eyes that they were literally staring right at me. And I touched even more fishes! Haha I feel so mean for violating the fish's privacy. Lesson learnt: Bread is a must for snorkelling.
Walked around in the resort after, laze around. Saw some diving school and this guy from England came out to explain it to us. He's really not bad looking, with pretty blue eyes, but his body was just... horrible. Oh yea we were at the beach so that explains why he's half naked. It's like there were piercing on three points of his torso, okay you can guess them I refuse to type them here. And a huge tattoo covering his whole back. HORRIBLE. My mum was like, gosh if he wore a full suit he'll look 帅死了! Considering that I've never heard my mum calling anyone (even hollywood actors) 帅 before, and her judgement of beauty/handsomeness is really of high standards, this guy must be really stunning. HAHA. Wondered if Dad heard Mum commenting that.
And I sat in a hammock for the first time in my life! Night time was watching Paraguay VS New Zealand. Gosh that match was even more boring, I think I slept in the first half. LOL! Got woken up early in the morning by shouts of GOALLLL from parents, so it was Japan 3rd goal against Denmark. Fell right asleep after watching the replay of the goal.
Oh yea there's no car/buses/taxis/trains in Perhentian. The only way of transportation other than by foot is by water taxi. Which is using the motor boat. DAMN COOL CAN. Took it once and it felt like we were having our very own private boat! ^^
25 June Friday
Took motor boat back to Malaysia! But there was some detour during the boat so we kinda sat in the boat for 1hour lol! Drove towards Kuantan, and stopped by a really bueatiful waterfall on the way.
PRETTY RIGHT! If you click on it and look at it closer, you can see people half naked eating in the middle of the waterfall haha!
Takeaway chilli crab back to hotel to eat. Gosh I love this hotel we checked in. Swiss Garden if I remember correctly. The interior of the hotel is the love!
26 June Saturday
Woke up the latest ever during this trip - 9am. Went to a museum which talked about tin mining. And it totally reminded me or Mrs Amy cause everything in it was about plate tectonics, what transform plate boundary, subduction, continental plate, igneous rocks (gosh I feel so proud of myself for being able to remember sec 2 geography). Then visited this cave which is really cool, like those you'll see in tianlongbabu that kind of shows. When you go in you have completely no track of time, cause it's like pitch black inside, which is scary.
Then we went to another waterfall!! PRETTY RIGHT!
And this is the other side of the waterfall, like the bottom part of it. Super scenic and it looks like some picture drawn by some artist! Really breathtaking :D
Watched Uruguay VS South Korea match that night. Gosh I think that's the only match I felt so much and cheered so loudly with my parents. Like everytime Korea was so close to scoring I'll be like really damn pissed and irritated HAHA! And when they finally got a goal to equalise I WAS REALLY SHOUTING GOAL AND CHEERING WITH MY DAD I CAN'T BELIEVE IT MYSELF EITHER LOL. But they lost in the end D: You know I realised all the -guay countries got rid of the only 2 asian teams in round of 16 D: Paraguay and Uruguay won Japan and South Korea respectively. DDD:
27 June Sunday
Checked out of hotel and home sweet home! :D
RANDOM PHOTOS TAKEN DURING THIS AND PREVIOUS MALAYSIA TRIPS:

28 June Monday
First day of school! And first time having lessons with Miss Teng since 6 months ago. Gosh now I really like Math lessons again cause I really like Miss Teng's style of teaching, and her pace is just nice for me.
Shall just skip Tuesday to Thursday cause nothing much to talk about.
2 July Friday
BE YOURSELF DAY!!!! I felt really weird wearing a yellow macdonald shirt with a huge burger printed on it + bermudas + checkered sneakers, like I kept wondering if today was the correct day, or whether it was just a prank, or if it was a dream or something. Totally scared I'll be the only one in Nanyang not in Hongzi or something LOL. But the sea of colours as soon as I alighted the bus totally relieved me! With Shichun bouncing up to me and commenting on my shirt haha! And my bermudas looking like the beef part of cheeseburger cause of the colour (I was wearing a cheeseburger shirt). And Sanba-ers staring and saying how cool my shirt is the moment I stepped into class. That burger on my shirt must be really eye-catching haha
Face painting in the morning before assembly was great! At first I didn't want to, but decided to join in the fun. And face painting is addictive okay! Once you paint something you want to start painting more stuffs haha! Shumin drew a Germany flag for me on my left cheek. Why I got Germany flag. Wanted Portugal but it was hard to draw and they were out. Wanted South Korea too, same reason as Portugal (but turned out Shumin managed to draw South Korea flag on Danielle!). Wanted Netherlands but it look so similar to France that I didn't like it haha! Decided on Germany cause it's easy to draw and I'm wearing a yellow shirt!
And on my right cheek I requested Sonia to write RONALDO in white and 7 in red below his name. LIKE THIS:
:DDDD
Then during recess I don't know why Shumin, Sinlie and I got really agitated about World Cup. Like both of them insisting that Netherlands lost to Japan but I remember clearly that Netherlands had 9 points in their group which meant that they won all their matches. Which led to Shumin saying that she'll treat me to a drink if she's wrong and when we checked Google, TADAAAA! Got my drink :D THANKS SHUMIN
And then was the discussion of who will win in Netherlands VS Brazil match. I don't know why I started crazily supporting Netherlands strongly, maybe cause of their lovely orange jerseys and the fact that almost everyone was supporting Brazil, but I was like NETHERLANDS WILL WINNNN! And Sinlie objected violently and offerent a bet of 2 bucks. So I crazily agreed, but lowered down the amount to 1 buck cause everyone around me was like saying Brazil will definitely win. Even Shumin saying she rather put all her money on Brazil.
AND IN THE END????? MUAHAHAHHAHAHAH NETHERLANDS WONNNN!! AND I'LL BE GETTING MY 1 BUCK. GOSH LOVE YOU NETHERLANDS. ORANGE JERSEYS FTW.
Just like what Shumin has nicely summarised it, eh hilary 你今天真的是大丰收leh... :D
RANDOM PHOTOS FROM MY PHONE:
Taken during Lifeskills Camp this year, near the staff room. Just suddenly found the effect of the 2 windows interesting!
Taken durin this year's Wushu competition! LOOK AT THE NUMBER OF BOYS COMPETITING FOR CUDGEL GOSH. CRAZY. Can't remember if this is C or B division, 四段棍 or 竞赛棍新/旧. BUT THE PICTURE IS SO COLOURFUL LOL.
Any idea where this is taken? IF YOU KNOW BEFORE READING THE NEXT SENTENCE YOU ARE PRO. It's taken in the night, Hwachong JC section overhead bridge. DAMN COOL RIGHT THIS PICTURE. Creepily cool ^^
Ending off this post with Batch sisters photo! PINGGHEE AND ESTHER ILOVEYOU! AND ESTHER WHY YOU NOT LOOKING AT THE MIRROR! HAHA! Speaking about wushu, my muscleaches show no sign of improvement yet. Trainings this week was really productive and good, PTs were tiring but enjoyed it nevertheless cause I know it's good for me. Standing in the position of a vice captain during trainings... I'm still not quite used to it. :/
I CAN'T WAIT FOR TOMORROW (actually it's today already haha). GOSH CHINESE DRAMA PERFORMANCE! REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO THE SECOND PLAY CAUSE I READ THE SCRIPT LAST YEAR AND IT REALLY GAVE ME A HUGE IMPRESSION! I'm prepared to cry liao haha! :D
OKAY THIS IS SUCH A LONG POST RIGHT. I should paste it on Microsoft Words and see how many words are there. (Shit I realised I forgot to change the settings of the pictures to middle size, ah wells nvm. OH AND 2525 WORDS EXCLUDING THIS BRACKETED PART! ^^ NICE NUMBER)
