Just to let off some steam

Today officially marks the end of written papers for A levels oyea! 2 MCQs left which are definitely much more fun to do than written papers! :D Okay something happened just a week ago and a few days later I told myself to write a post about it cause some people are seriously too ridiculous.

Exactly a week ago, Chemistry Paper 3 just ended. I was pretty shocked by the standards of the paper cause it was much, much easier than the killer paper 3 prelims Hwa Chong set for us which even the best chem gods in our school felt that it was killer. I went in to the classroom for A level Chemistry Paper 3 with the mindset that the standards will be similar and honestly I was quite petrified. But the paper turned out to be a pleasant surprise, and I'm sure it was the same for most of us too, considering the difference in prelims. And because of such a paper, I began to worry that attaining an A is even harder cause everyone will do so well with an easy paper. Cause of all the bell-curve shifting and stuff making the band for the A grade higher. So I tweeted something along the lines of I have no idea if I'll even attain an A with such an easy paper, (sorry for those who felt otherwise), I rather have a harder paper.

Harder paper as in not killer like prelims but more challenging which requires more thinking to better differentiate students.

I knew this was a rather blunt tweet and there will bound to be some indirect replies to it. And I wasn't wrong. This girl whom I was rather close to in Secondary 2 as we were deskmates, but now we are like strangers we don't even acknowledge each other's presence (the irony when her ex actually says hi to me when I have never really talk much to her ex), she tweeted "-.- most haolian person on my tlist".

Hahaha was quite amused when I saw the tweet cause wow whatever I predicted really happened (and I kinda guess that she would be the one responding to it), and I was totally fine with it cause well if that's her definition of haolian so be it! Everyone has their own freedom of speech.

But then after a while I thought ok maybe the tweet was too blunt and I should be more tactful. Decided to delete the tweet after it was up on twitter for about 15 minutes. It might not do much difference, but well at least those people who didn't check twitter for that 15 minutes wouldn't read it and..get affected?

So I thought the matter would rest. Cause I couldn't be bothered to tweet any other tweet in relation to that girl's tweet as it's just too immature and not like she matters in my life.

But boy I was wrong. Three days later, THREE FREAKING DAYS LATER, she still brought up the tweet even though it only appeared in the Internet world for 15 minutes. She tweeted something like: No offense must be the most ridiculous phrase ever, ...., same for "sorry to those who think that _____" but I'm going to say it to make you feel bad about yourself anyway.

And from her at mentions I can deduce that she continued spreading about the incident to other users.

I would be fine with all these tweets directed at me. But why am I blogging this? Because like the same day or the day after I tweeted that blunt tweet, I realised she unfollowed me and somehow she made me unfollow her (I don't know how this works cause I don't make people unfollow me unlike a certain someone). At that point of time I was more than happy, cause well of course if she doesn't wanna see my tweets that is cool, and I don't get to see all her negative tweets about life! :D

And then I don't know how long after she blocked me or made me unfollow her, she tweeted that second tweet. I find it quite amusing like she wants to make me feel bad but 1) I can't even see your tweet how can I feel bad LOL and 2) even if I saw it already from a friend, I don't feel bad AT ALL cause you don't matter in my life AT ALL HAHA.

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS, how ridiculous she is, blocking me or what and then BITCHING BEHIND MY BACK. Like wow if you want to bitch about me do it directly in my face. Don't be such a coward and bitch behind the protection of a protected twitter account such that you feel all justified about your bitches AND SPREAD IT TO OTHER PEOPLE. (FYI, if she tweeted the second tweet with me seeing it personally, this blogpost would not have been here) And the tweet wasn't even directed to her in ANYWAY. I have tweets that were directed to some people if they reacted I would be fine but this is too atrocious.

Thinking about this issue further, I realised that a few years ago she had a whole bitchy blog post about this particular girl in her class and she posted that post cause it was LOCKED and that girl wouldn't see it. But duh the girl saw it and the result was rather nasty. Not that I will do anything nasty to her, but turns out some people just don't learn their lessons huh?

Well, I have one thing I can learn from her, that I will learn my lesson and be more tactful on social media and not repeat my mistakes unlike her. (:
